The whole "they said the N-word" has become a bit of a meme though. You seem to hear it every time a white guy is swarmed by an angry black mob. Very rarely any actual proof the N-word was used.

You guys are right about malls suffering from lack of business in more diverse areas. You do see groups of young black people there just kinda idling around almost looking for trouble. Although you do also see a lot of more decent black people just going about their business.
