I don't believe in abortion but it's not my choice to make. I have a lot of mixed feelings about that subject. However what I am firm about is I don't want to pay for other people's responsibilities whether it's their decision to keep it or to abort it. I think they should be responsible. If they refuse to take care of the child they produced then that is neglect and they should be held accountable. It's not right to put that responsibility on other people, so you're going to go to work, and you might not like it. You are not going to sit on your duff and get high while collecting productive tax payer's dollars to fund your degenerate lifestyle while being a crappy parent, which 90% of welfare parents are horrible caretakers and almost always bad examples to their kids.

About the abortion thing, can't stomach it myself. Over the past year, this cat I was taking care of got knocked up and had her kittens at my house. When they were old enough I found them homes thanks to a neighbor. Went to go get this cat spayed and they informed me she was pregnant again but they could still go ahead. Almost said do it, because I was done with it, but I couldn't do it. Let her have the second batch. Those damn kittens destroyed another room of my house. Working on getting her fixed now. Two bedrooms ruined that I have to do work to in order to get right. However, it wasn't the kittens' fault and I couldn't imagine ending their lives because it's not convenient to me. How someone could do that to their own child I have no idea, couldn't be a decent person. So I really don't care how they feel about it.

I don't think it's a simple yes or no type of thing. You could look at how many single mom's having kids out of wedlock this day in age with no financial means to support them and ask if the kid, the mother, and society as a whole is better off with an abortion if they can't financially support it. I've heard people argue yes in a compelling way. I don't really have a strong opinion on the matter other than educating women on how sex works, because we're clearly failing at that as a society and it seems to be getting worse.

If I were an authoritarian, I would likely develop a method where reproduction systems didn't work by default until you make a conscious and informed decision to turn them on.
