It works. but since this is the way this forum is ran then this is the way it will be.

That's not what I meant. There's nothing wrong with correcting someone's scientific illiteracy because that's keeping the focus on the argument. If it was me in the boat I'd expect the same treatment.

Social science is not how I would describe myself. But I am quite transdisciplinary and it's difficult to nail it down with a single word. I would describe it as neuroanthropology, complexity theory and cognitive science. I'm very similar in my ideas to Terrence Deacon who wrote a great book called The Symbolic Species, which offered a new framework for understanding language and cognition and their evolution.




I met both Terrence Deacon and Daniel Dennett at a cognitive science/evolutionary biology conference. Very, very nice guys.

AFAIK it will simply say Doctor of Philosophy.


I already teach and lecture on the side for extra income, but definitely going to attempt to write a book. Hopefully publish my thesis as a book, which a friend of mine recently did.

You couldn't find the thesis unless you knew the title of it, or my full name, and even then you'd have to have access to very specific databases. Of course, if you meant the publication of the thesis as a book, that would also be nothing to worry about since someone sad and anti-social enough to want to dox me probably doesn't have the literacy and certainly doesn't have the money to afford the huge price tag of books published under academic labels.


What's the doxxer gonna do anyway? Contact my place of employment and say "Hey, this guy fukked a tranny!" in which case he will be ignored or written off as a nuisance? LOL.

It seems too broad and weirdly non-specific. Also extremely strange to use formulations like "A refutation of the neo-darwinist approach to evolution". No PhDs I know would formulate themselves in this way when describing their thesis.

Perhaps I'm underestimating the sheer amount of useless theses and the number of obscure places they are published. I thought most publications were available to any university student. Based on what you're posting it would seem to be fairly trivial to search for a paper which matches the subject, date and your location.

I think you're severely underestimating the ability and potential malice of anonymous internet posters. Being sad and anti-social but also literate and monied is certainly not mutually exclusive. Perhaps you're just naive and not frauding.
