When a "news" station is on 24/7, they have to have a lot of fluff in there. This is why you didn't see Walter Cronkite on 24/7 reporting the news. Rogan is not news. Anderson Cooper is not news. Tucker Carlson is not news.
I think Rogan craftily threw a lure out there with his home video of mentioning that he was taking ivermectin for his covid, and CNN bit. Serves them right for doing that, as it should have been obvious it was a trap because Rogan can afford the best medical care and with the other items listed, it was obvious it was prescribed by his doctor.
That said, Rogan does influence a lot of people. That is not debatable. These old musicians have more money than Rogan, so they likely do not need some cash, and they're within their rights to have their music pulled. Spotify is within their rights to say we're an entertainment service and wish not to get into politics and didn't cave into their requests. That is what I would have done had this been back when I was running my business if I encountered the same thing.

The most shocking thing in this is learning that people actually pay for music. I rip that chit with a youtube to mp3 converter. Fuk paying these cucks.

Well between an artist who hasn't been relevant since the Nixon administration and some clown who wants to be a transgendered black man....not sure who I care about less. I don't even listen to Rogan, don't give a chit about any of this, but will drop Spotify the second they drop Rogan out of spite. Fuk this corporate puppets.

In the end, money talks ($100m)...
Joe Rogan apologizes to Spotify and musicians amid boycott over his podcast
Podcaster Joe Rogan admitted late Sunday that he could do more when it comes to informing his listeners.
It comes after a growing number of artists began pulling their work from Spotify in protest of the platform’s coronavirus misinformation policy.
Rogan said he would be open to changes to the show such as booking more mainstream experts after having controversial ones and doing more research on certain topics.

Heard Yoko Ono is now threatening to add her music to Spotify if Rogan isn’t removed
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Spotify is gonna add warnings
"Ek tweeted Sunday that the company has “heard the criticism and we’re implementing changes to combat misinformation,” referring to but not explicitly referencing the recent controversy surrounding Spotify’s “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.
Spotify will add a content warning to episodes talking about Covid-19 and linking to coronavirus podcasts from reputable news sources, Ek said in a note published Sunday, though there is no mention that podcasts that promote false or misleading claims about the coronavirus will be given special treatment compared to episodes featuring factual discussion.
Spotify will only bar Covid-19 misinformation content on one of four grounds, according to its content policy released Sunday: saying that approved vaccines are intended to kill people, claiming Covid-19 is not real, encouraging people to intentionally get Covid-19 or promoting the consumption of bleach for medical treatment."

I have no issue with this whatsoever.
If someone doesn’t like the people they are sharing a platform with and chooses to remove themselves from that company, I think that’s fine.
Trying to remove some else from that platform because they don’t like them is not acceptable. She bailed, so good on her for leaving other people alone and choosing to go where like-minded people are.
