You can sue even if you sign a liability waiver. Not saying you should but obviously a possibility since she died.

stupid ****ing machine. people can eat **** attempting 1000+ squats and walk away fine after dumping in a monolift or a normal squat rack with less weights but no fuking dumping when the bar is fixed. It isn't even that it was 400lbs, I bet half that weight would've killed her if she lost control of it in that way.

honestly surprised she could even... unrack? or whatever you do in a smith machine... that much weight in the first place.
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.

Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

Atleast a quick death, probably was out in 2seconds.
The whole "death around the corner" thing is of course true, but you are also supposed to be a human being with logic and thoughtfullness. I also dont cross highway blindfolded or do pushups on a traintrack. Noone deserves this but you cant call it an accident either.

most have a waiver on entry for this exact kind of scenario. I don't think anyone involved in the incident would be happy about how it went down. Even the onlookers would have felt guilty for not stepping in

Not sherriff.

As mentioned before, hold harmless agreements are not even rock solid in court.

However, I don't think that was America, so I am not familiar with liability laws.

she unracked 405 in a smith machine and went immediately face to ground, took about 7 seconds for enough help to come get her body free

there were people there who saw what she was about to do, its puzzling why she attempted this lift srs

I just noticed the girl in yellow is her daughter in like school uniform, foooooockkk.

The only POS is the bloatloard he literally stops and makes eye contact and talks to her before she attempted.

It looks more like the rack was set for the dude and then she was like "let me try see how heavy it is" and he let her.
