Politics aside no part of the constitution gives you a right to abortion it should be overturned
You could make the argument that all abortions should be illegal based of the right to life in
“No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
Abortion is literally depriving a person of life

Honestly it's a genius move by the liberals as a means to mobilize & fundraise, as well as take attention off Biden's economy & other blunders.
From a legal perspective, Roe v Wade should never have happened anyway. The argument was that the 4th Amendment guarantees the right to privacy, and therefore no medical procedure should be restricted by the government since it'd be a violation of one's medical privacy. But the ruling has then remained constrained to only abortion because once you apply it to any other procedure you can see how ridiculous the logic is. IE, the government can't restrict me from surgically inserting ivory as my dental caps, or replacing my heart with a panda's heart. Or swallowing bags of ******* or hash, which would be a drug trafficker's dream. My body my choice after all.
The leaked document calls out the inherent logic flaws associated with RvW and merely assigns rule-making back to the peoples' elected legislature, rather than judges just inventing policies at their own discretion.

As a libertarian, my feelings on Roe are mixed. I am staunchly pro-choice. What other people want to do is none of anyone's fukking business if it doesn't violate your own rights. On the other hand, Roe was a bad decision. There's nothing in the Constitution about federal government regulating abortion or healthcare one way or the other. In the end, most people support abortion rights and this is a lightning rod issue, so it's going to cost the Republicans in the midterms. What should be an (R) landslide isn't going to be because of this (unless this leak is wrong).

I really don't know what Republicans are going to do at this point. Much like liberals have the looming desire to get rid of the 2A the Republicans proverbial carrot on the stick was Roe v Wade.
Now that the neocon voters finally grabbed and ate the carrot, what other issue do republicans have to keep their base? Don't get me wrong, the boomers and evangelicals will eat this stuff up and be content, but once they're gone, I don't know how they're going to grow their base....or at least grow it at a rate to compete with the growth of liberal ideologies in this country.
