1. Sex is not a sacred act. It was from the beginning just a means to procreate. That's a human condition you have attached to it. It doesn't have to always be about passion and love.

2. Stop projecting onto others. Most normal humans can tug off now and then and get on with life. Just like with drugs, booze or any other perceived vice.

3. Enjoy your echo chamber of biased cherry-picked scientific ted-like hypothesis when the answer is jsut be a fking normal person, if you're susceptible with addictions and are weak, quit and stfu about it, don't try drag others down.

4. You won't gain any magical mental powers not watching porn, you won't get more testosterone, you won't be "desensitized" and if you are that a fault with your own biology. What you will gain are heaps of placebo gains. You're not going to kill someone playing violent video games like you're not going to suddenly treat women like rubbish because of porn - the reality is women are the ones making all the money and are willing participants to this basic male need.

5. Some people may need erotic options for whatever reasons. They are ugly, may never see what it's like to see a stunner whether it's a softcore photo or hardcore action. No fap, no porn, it's all the same nonsense. Porn or fapping or both is a convenience for many and has no major negative effects for the majority. If you have sex regularly you'll know a lot of the time there's a lot that leads up to it and sometimes you don't want to deal with it.

5. Strong strawman here trying to link porn watching to other vices and immoral behavior another side-effect of ignorant projection.

6. Side-note, prostitution is perfectly fine when governed properly.

.
Making it a sacred act with your partner enhances your relationship and family tenfold. If you don’t want that it doesn’t matter to me. But just because it doesn’t have to be a sacred act doesn’t mean your life and relationship can’t become better if you make it one for you and your partner.

But I’ve never advocated for preaching to people who don’t want to hear it. Just trying to point out something I think might be lost in translation.

Is sex in itself sacred? No. Does it enhance and benefit couples who make it so? I believe yes and it greatly improved my relationship when I started viewing it as such.

Oh really? You "cannot comprehend" something so basic?

Would you be fine with watching people attacking and murdering unsuspecting people on the street in front of you? How do the jogger "slap game" videos make you feel?

If you believe that life begins at conception, then abortions are the equivalent of that.

I don't & neither does science. Would you be fine with your female relatives, partner being raped & then being forced to give birth?

I am glad I have come across this thread. It is motivation to stick with no porn. Only on day 3 currently, but will pursue and only fap w/out porn if I really feel the urge.

I definitely feel healthier when I am away from porn for long periods.

projection.

If you're so unstable a single drink, sexual experience or other vice ruins you, you're probably also not intelligent enough to see this is not the case for stronger men.

Barely watch porn. Usually I go 3-6 months without watching it, and when I do watch its usually for a day or a couple days. I mostly watch my own sex tapes I make with sloots or just bust to Instagram sloots or imagination. I will say tho the less, and less porn I watch the higher my sex drive. I’m attracted to almost every sloot who isn’t fat, old or super ugly. Porn does definitely raises your standards, because I remember when I used to watch it all the time I was only sexually attracted to porn looking bimbo sloots. I remember at a certain point I was mainly only attracted to chicks with enormous butts. Now I’m attracted to that + more. I get way more sexually aroused while now compared to when I watched porn.

Refreshing thread, you love to see it. Pornography is absolutely destroying men. The only positive is that it may give women a chance to move up in this world once it becomes clear that men are not functional anymore don't @ me, I don't care. Everyone on Reddit (yeah yeah) should at least once check the NoFap sub to see how porn actually affects men. Men are marching toward their own destruction. Every day we see more evidence that men are getting sicker and sicker. It's amazing watching my girlfriends boycott these pornsick coomers. Good on everyone ITT for making serious changes.

1. "Sacred" doesn't necessarily have to be in a religious context. Sex is supposed to be complimentary to an intimate relationship with a long term partner. There is a reason sex releases Oxytocin and not just Dopamine which you could get from snorting white powder. You are not a dog that bangs a random in the doggy park. You are not a fish that splurges randomly in the ocean and hopes to get lucky.

2. Everyone thinks this but they have no idea how much it is impacting them neurologically.

3. Not an argument, also it's obvious you're extremely defensive about this.

4. False, desensitization (particularly to your brain's reward system, not women) is a very commonly observed chemical phenomenon in research.

5. Sounds like you are a victim of the desensitization leading to demotivation symptoms. Maybe give the right hand a rest eh?

6. Turning women into purchasable sex objects has implications for society.

Yes OP, we're all fuked.

Porn is proven to reduce "grey matter" in the brain.
.
It also reinforces dopaminergic addictions and can easily carryover to drug addiction because you're essentially doing the same thing to your brain with porn as with drugs but on a lesser scale.

We are taking in more "poison" than any other time in the history of the human race and its despicable.

I can't imagine what HC porn does to these young brains. I was fukin by 10th grade but wonder what would of happened If I had a computer with high speed in my room at age 13 - or younger
