This was a very well traveled area, not an isolated one, more like a tourist attraction. Yeah, a far out nature hike would require trust.

But when you are good looking, women will throw all common sense out the window anyway. Since I always try and think logically, for the first few dates, I will give them what I would consider common sense safe options, and they always say that's not necessary.

I swear if I told them to meet me in a back alley at 2:00 in the morning and come alone and leave your phone at home they probably would. For a good looking guy they consider that exciting, ignoring that the person could be a psycho.

It's just another example of women's double standards. It's their version of simping. When they are attracted to you, their whole morality and common sense systems change completely.

Just thinking about going back on dating apps and shifting through single moms, fatties, uglies, tattoocels, liberals, former abused and crazy chicks gives me instant depression lol

if you guys are on there why don't you fake your chit?

seriously.. women fuken do it, so dont give me that chit

but you also don't have to fake it that much. like showing a few instances of one happening is not really "insight" into someones life, so those photos are shallow anyways

so for instance..having one group photo, one photo of a sport activity, one photo of you with dogs.. some people are smart enough (and manipulative enough) to have photos from side angles to make it look like you were "caught in the act" - aka more genuine. people are def. setting up or "staging" photos and i would wager a large chunk are also prob using some form of digitally altering images as well. some people are going to those lengths, so if you are not you are lagging behind

and then are other lengths you go into like taking photos in front of nice houses. renting out airbnbs and acting like its your place. renting a car for a night. im not saying this is a great chance for a relationship. i'm simply pointing out how all these manufactured images (like insta) could paint a very different picture of someones life AND you still would not gain insight into the type of person they are

so.. basically.. social media is all a facade. if you're gonna play, you should play the game.. cause other people are

yes, it would be hard to have photos of big baller mansions and lambos and date a girl for 6 months.. but it wouldn't really be that hard to have that fake image and bang them for a night

i personally don't want women from dating apps, so that's all i'd be using them for anyway

i also personally think if you're sifting through those apps and basing your decisions off of that facade.. you kinda deserve exactly that

Dating apps aren't my only source of meeting women so I don't need to fake anything.

Getting good photos is no longer an issue for me either. I've also started to adopt your mindset about not wanting women from dating apps based on my recent experience.

When I started getting consistent matches those young girls were so exhausting to interact with. I matched with one who could only talk about traveling and how boring other men were (ironic).

The only question she asked me was "You don't have a passport?" as if that were the only thing that mattered. I'm convinced that most of the females on dating apps have near nothing to offer, much like the males they criticize so much.

I've got some financial plans I'd like to get in order over the next few months. Once I get that set, I'm going full IRL game. Brunch bar day drinking for milfs, late night dive bar crawling, and eventmaxxing (that's more for my own enjoyment though).

Any decent looking chick out there has already been run through by dozens of guys at this point. No one is new to online dating anymore.

Here's the thing. I never used dating apps. I did bumble and tinder once for a thread on the misc after I shaved my head to show brahs I could easily match with attractive women being bald. At that time that was like a ripple effect in the red pill world or something that a man's attractiveness didn't die off after going bald.

I literally did this for 2 reasons. One being Brad always matching with smokeshows and I felt like being near Chicago it must be similar. Boy was I wrong. The second reason was to see what is out there. I'm 31 now. I want a good woman to settle down with and have a ton of kids. Unlike a lot of miscers, I actually have (or I guess "had" nowadays) a great social life. Had 5 weddings last year and stood up in one, bachelor parties, went to nashville, went to vegas this year, etc. HOWEVER, since covid no one really does anything anymore unless planned out way in advance. Most of my friends have left Illinois as well. It's been brutal this year because most of my friends have moved all over the US so it's a hassle to get together. Mix that with all the chicks they either try to set me up with being huge whores or just not women I would go for, and you're left with trying to find women at parties and bars. Kind of hard. Getting sick of sloots, having fwbs, etc. A lot friends getting divorced too and it's just not good vibes in IL atm.

It's not that I'm super picky. It's just the very standard traditional kind of woman or any female with a want for kids or having any mothering qualities is so rare. I might go church hopping soon and I'm not even joking. Dating apps are not for me. I can already tell. I just didn't expect this level of female brainwashing, let alone an app purposefully sending me 1k profiles of the lowest on the totem polel

Here's an example. I just matched with this chick this morning. Guarantee I could clap her cheeks. But I got bored halfway down her profile. I can just imagine how awful it would be with a chick like this outside of sex. I just picture being Brad with chicks just taking selfies and pictures all day as I'm sitting on a hay-bail questioning life.

Actually here every white guy I know either has a hot wife or a hot ass gf every other week. I don’t know how they do it. Actually asked some chick out at the gym who was always flirting with me and she said no but now I see her with a new guy every darn week. She is young but still a bit awkward 😬

Tinder banned me for receiving too many likes. Most are married women who just want to f. I don’t mind. If not it’s just a status thing. They all want a dude with a lot of money and a big truck and a boat.

in my experience... sexting before meeting up isn't good. sounds like shocking went no contact.. but i predicted a flake based on that

what happens is its hot and heavy.. so they imbibe in the sexting. but then it cools down and they don't want to look like a whore. so then they flake. its kinda the same thing when out and about getting drunk and getting bishes number. most of the time if you dont strike that night it's gonna fizzle.

the girls are gonna sober up and realize they made mistakes and then they don't want to deal with it. either they look like a whore or they'll just chalk it up to being drunk. and they dont want a relationship based on that

tis why you can be very strong when going out

as i said, in my experience getting to sexting before meeting typically meant there wasn't gonna be a meet up

This means literally nothing. I'm positive all of us have seen plenty of guys who killed it in High School / College / early 20's and had endless hotties. Problem is they had no ambition because they chased the kitty Kat while they should have been developing themselves - they are like hot girls, they had it on easy mode in their younger life, so as a result had no reason to work hard...well now their time is up, and it's too late to catch up....they're just sitting around the local bar telling old high school football stories, it's all they have left.

Is this you? College athlete?

The only thing that matters is, where are you NOW.
I'm bald, yes, but I'm 6'1.5, have no debt, a solid job and currently switching careers, pretty good looking guy that's in shape, broad shoulders, etc. I don't have a problem attracting women. Problem is I'm looking for a decent chick to eventually have a ton of kids with. Going on this app was to just increase my chances of finding decent women.
I'll agree with you here, being bald means nothing, it's just another cope the MISC has for why they fail with girls. Hurrrr Durrr Norwood reaper level 5. Nobody gives a chit if a man is bald or not, provided he's on his game and killing it in life. It's 100% cope as you apparently proved.

I'll challenge you on switching careers - why are you doing that in your 30's? What was your previous career and how much money were you making? What new career are you going into and how much money will you make?

I have the very deep suspicion you aren't where you need to be financially or career wise. So how are you going to have a family of 5....and why would any woman want to hitch herself to your wagon and depend on you when you are switching careers in your 30's?

You convenient didn't answer the question about your living situation - do you own your own home? Or are you renting?
I'll say this one more time. I saw a total of maybe 10 chicks, MAYBE, that were attractive or remotely close to what my profile would even suggest. Like they threw 800 obese, blue haired, immigrants, aetheist wanting no kids, etc.
Loser mentality - placing blame externally. You are literally on a forum whining to nobody that the dating apps have an evil algorithm which aren't spoon-feeding you 10/10 wife material girls. Their job isn't to set you up with a wife dummy, their job is to extract money from beta males, this is a business, not a charity service. Take responsibility for your OWN LIFE FFS. WAAAAHHHH the algorithm WAAAHHHH!!!
I haven't even had a chance to really talk to any good looking women besides 2. One of them ended up creeping me out with her intensity. The app is broken right now for me and idk what algorithm they set up for the first week or so but it is disheartening.
LOL just LOL. Keep whining, and blaming everything else.....surely that will solve your problems.
I'm 31 now. I want a good woman to settle down with and have a ton of kids. Unlike a lot of miscers, I actually have (or I guess "had" nowadays) a great social life. More whining pity party nonsense.

You went to 5 weddings and didn't meet any girls worth chit? I'm not saying you need to sleep with them....but you explore the option. Get their number, go on a date, see if they're available and looking for what you are looking for....if not you just say "hey we're looking for different things, best of luck" and be on your way.

Taking a trip of Nashville / Vegas isn't exactly an amazing social life....you sound really immature. You are looking for wifey but you are going to all the party destinations, still going to bachelor parties (grow up) etc. This also tells us a lot about you - you aren't sophisticated / high end, you aren't a professional, and the people you associate with are, naturally, approximately on your level.....which sounds like Blue Color / tradie level....which don't get confused, I'm NOT INSULTING, but you have to be realistic about where you stack up - blue collar guys are awesome, some make good money, but they don't get pretty wifey material women unless they own a company with multiple employees and clear $200k/yr in middle-town America, $500k for a big city.

You can't upgrade your social group if you aren't BETTER than your current social group - sounds like you belong where you are. Don't like it? Level up.

I think even Ray Charles can see what the problem is at this point....

Loser mentality - placing blame externally. You are literally on a forum whining to nobody that the dating apps have an evil algorithm which aren't spoon-feeding you 10/10 wife material girls. Their job isn't to set you up with a wife dummy, their job is to extract money from beta males, this is a business, not a charity service. Take responsibility for your OWN LIFE FFS. WAAAAHHHH the algorithm WAAAHHHH!!!

LOL just LOL. Keep whining, and blaming everything else.....surely that will solve your problems.

You're a little too invested in this.

Uh...of course there is something wrong with women like that. The whole thing that makes them freaks.

Should have seen it through

No, I'm referring to writing essays and assuming OP's criticism of the OLD experience is somehow whining. Then all of the sudden you get down to analyzing his character as if he came here asking for advice.

-Whining
-Loser mentality
-Pity Party

Carefully chosen words/phrases meant to minimize an individuals point of view or thoughts/feelings. People capable of actual intelligent discussion don't need to use tactics like that. Before you deny anything, keep in mind you already went for the ad hominem approach by bringing up my post count lol, and that was just from me making an observation. That alone has already exposed you as disingenuous.

Just write a book.

To be honest, he did make some pretty good points IMO, and if he for whatever reason dediced to give OP a long and well thought out input of his situation, getting a passive agressive response like the one you gave him would obviously be a bit triggering, resulting in said ad hominem.

Nah, I think you two are alike.

You're calling me out over "passive aggressive" responses when you literally have done the same thing in similar threads.

It probably triggered him because I was somewhat right.

I've already made my points ITT, and OP's points were valid.

We can acknowledge the issues he brought up while also agreeing that there are men who aren't doing everything they can to be successful in dating.

I think you are reaching.

He made some pretty good points in his post that you decided to mock him for, thats all im saying. If you dont think that, then its cool. I just think its a bit of a douche move to reply to a well written intelligent granted long post with a comment like yours. If you want to troll then thats cool, ive done that before, just dont get on your high horse after the ad hominem comes.

Two sides of the same coin.

You're allowed to think what you want. I shared my thoughts already.

Bro, the world is too coddled.

Coddling people makes them weak.

Weak people make poor decisions

Poor decisions result in poor outcomes

If you haven't noticed by now, I respond to people as a football coach would, or a drill instructor. I do it on purpose - to piss them off, and get the motivated. Imagine where you must be in life if you are coming to this old-ass web forum complaining about your real-life outcomes....that's got to be pretty sad. So does a person like that, who's been coddled their entire life, need more coddling, or do they need a kick in the ass and a reality check? Clearly what they are doing isn't working.

Like brah, let's be objective here - was he whining? Yes. Does he have a loser mentality? Yes. Was he throwing a pity party? Yes.

So why are you complaining if those things are objectively true? Why are you trying to tone police? The language YOU just injected is the loaded language "Minimizing an individuals point of view or thoughts/feelings" LOL u wot m8? We all know that's the indoctrination language of the left - the purpose of that language is to make everything relativistic, to make sure there is no objective standards, no way to measure success or failure....that's precisely out of the book of relativism and equality of outcome. Loserthink.

There is no equality of outcome, we are all in a first world country, with every opportunity to succeed, if any obstacles get in your way, you have the freedom to push through and overcome.

Some people will be motivated by that kind of freedom and opportunity - those people RELISH that opportunity because they know they can compete.

Other people are discouraged by that and want to flatten the playing field because they THINK they can't compete.

Everyone needs to get humbled from time to time. You think I'm doing this to be punitive? I get enjoyment of pointing out where that dude is lacking? Or do you think maybe I'm giving him a gut check, telling him the truth, and opening his eyes to his negative thoughts so he can CHOOSE to persevere and overcome?

Stop assuming everyone is so weak.
Stop thinking all solutions are simple.
Stop assuming getting your ass handed to you doesn't make you stronger
Life is complex.
Fight through it and overcome.

hinge is either feast or famine for me

it is currently the best dating app right now

general reminder that if texting/making plans and chit is feeling one sided she's probably not that interested

the difference in texting between girls that like you vs not liking you is immense

she's not being "dry," she doesn't like you
