There was this dumb ****ot on the misc who created an alternate site, hosted on a blackberry from 2011. He managed to get a few noobs to join, promising them it's cheap so he would keep the site up and running. And I dun told him, people won't have faith in a site run by some random weirdo. You gotta keep it open and well moderated so miscers could see you mean business.

Few weeks later the site shut down and I think he said it's because he forgot to pay the bill but probably won't bother renewing lmao. Imagine if the idiot had actually kept it running. Now it's too late because they see how weaksauce his motivation was and have no faith in that option anymore. We definitely need a backup misc....maybe reddit is our only choice.
