Again you refuse to refute my point.

It absolutely was one of the most highly secure projects - that is why NASA and Grumman have secure facilities and everyone working on it had security clearance. That is how the Government protected the data.

Since then - it is less protected. They drawings were no longer useful and archived. Archives get effed up all the time. you know what else is a high security project? Our nuclear arsenal and yet the US Government has lost nuclear warheads. Is it that hard to imagine that a project that is no longer active, like the lunar lander, or even just moved on to the next iteration had it's drawings put in an archive and that down the line some may have been lost and or damaged?

India tried to land two probes there and both crashed.

How hard is it to reproduce technology and then improve it to have smooth landings there?

The moon landing had huge propaganda value.

Do I believe that a landing was filmed, in case the mission went wrong, that they could use for propaganda? Yes.

Do I believe they went? Yes.

Was the footage shown the real landing or the propaganda reel? I have no idea.
