Sanctions follow international incidents: Myanmar coup? An EU arms embargo. Russia illegally annexes Crimea, and causes the situation in East Ukraine? Sanctions come. Iran talks about nuking Israel? Sanctions come to collapse its economy, and produce the JCPOA.

Tell me that Europe is "descending into poverty" after understanding that some 50% of Americans have less than USD 1000 in savings, and some 40% have USD 0 savings.

The EU carried the brunt of the economic fallout from sanctioning Iran - why are some Americans seemingly upset that Russia's getting sanctioned, for what it is doing?

On the military front: it is Ukrainians fighting tooth and nail there, not "us". And the U.S' economic exposure to Russia was and is minimal (compared to the EU's, anyway), so what is all this? Just...SMH.
