No one believes in the Bible and so it has not been a factor for probably a hundred years.

Nearly no one can quote the Bible and explain the context of the quote and its meaning because they have never bothered to read it. That's because they do not believe in it.

However, many people can tell you sports history, entire comic book stories, stories and meanings of movies, etc. So, they like can believe in those stories and do not like and believe in the Bible.

Facts are determined by actions and so what I'm saying is fact.

So, WHAT DOES appeal to people?

Utilitarian Ethics, is what appeals to people.

That's a simple idea that what works is ethical and what doesn't is unethical. That is how most people think.

Should weed be legal? Does it hurt anyone? Will it cause traffic problems? How will it affect work?

That's utilitarian and how average people think.

If you want to have increased positive behavior you have to explain in detail the cause and effect reasons for laws.

re-read your post, do you think anyone wants to be ethical these days? Covid and BLM should have shown everyone what America is turning into

What is so bad about BLM again? Sure the org is corrupt, but what's wrong with the idea? Seems like what drove people to support BLM was ethics : the simple idea that black lives do in fact matter.

Indeed, covid showed some people like you are selfish, anti-scientific, and anti-intellectual.

Pharaoh disobeyed God. He was warned time and time again. He chose not to listen. Now we murder children in the womb because we have turned our back on God, and think we should be celebrated and hold parades for the mass murderings..see what happens. yea..that's what I thought.

Read about "Utilitarian Ethics" because it's not what you think it is.

We all tend to follow such ethics whether we know it or not.

remember to keep this in mind when having this tired and played out debate:

the ugly manlet atheist will always, always, use every ounce of his mental capacity to double down on his belief because it is a coping mechanism for his being Nature's reject.

Atheism and fatherlessness/lack of healthy relation with Father go hand in hand.

If an ugly manlet atheist has already been rejected by his father, how do you expect him to believe in THE Father? It's just not going to happen, and you are just wasting time.

Just observe the reality around you and know that God is inherently True.

wth are you talking about lmao?
you brought up Muslims lands being in a bad state as a connection to the teaching and I'm saying that isn't the case and threw that claim right back to you and used your own faith as the example...if anything, I can see if someone who doesn't believe in God to claim this but you should shouldn't with someone who has a faith and ontop, have the exact same issue happening with the Israelites

Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

So because some protests became riots, the entire concept of blm and the majority of those who supported the movement are bad? Quite a leap of logic, but its comparable to the kind of leap required to believe in an imaginary friend.

So don't ask questions or look for evidence. Just believe.

Except the holocaust. Then constantly ask questions and demand the strictest of evidence.

Hmmm.

I am demonstrating what happens when you remove Christian values...those are different than Jewish values because Christ fulfilled Jewish Law. Muslim values are quite different than the values Christ taught and instructed His people to obey. Muslim countries do not hold the same values as America, because their God is a reflection of their society.

We've seen a lot of bs arguments thrown this way and that, but the core essence is first to ask for a definition of "God" followed by suitable evidence of existence. To date, no one has been able to provide this. So that settles the entire religious project as a political sham.

the evidence is clear as day: every atheist I've ever observed in life has been a complete dysgenic loser like you. Sam Harris, Joe Rogan, Michio Kaku, Michael Shermer, just fkn complete manlet genetic rejects. Their "Sciencetism" is pure cope.

And the holohoax is evidently fake as observed by the fact that it's main defenders are atheistic losers like you.

That is all I ever need to know that atheism and the lolohoax are false.

The Chad Pattern Observation Science is settled.

"some protests"...show me a protest that did not become a looting, burning, violent demonstration of BLM when there was no resistance to armed citizens.

Infact the very first one they tried to beat a FEDEX driver in which he was forced to run over 5 blm rioters in fear for his life.

do just parrot what CNN tells you. You are such a fukin retard. srs

If you think America = Christian, I have news for you.

Christianity is a dying religion and that's a fact. Churches are closing year after year because people have left it. No one attends church other than the elderly and when they are gone, I wonder how many churches will remain. In terms of numbers, it is the largest religion but in terms of practice it is far from that.

Imagine America in a generation when the current 20yo have kids who are their age...as Saint Hamudi said, it's over buddy boyo.

If you really think wealth and status is a reflection, then America should be a very religious country. Even if the Muslim countries have been bombed, they have still kept their religion. The war waged against Islam...had any other religion gone through it would have been long gone. Imagine America going through what Muslim nations are going through...wait they don't. They already left the religion without even going through it.

I've posted several figures/graphs in support of my argument..do you have any figures that reflect your argument?
Yes I do. I already stated Asian countries. Buddhism and Taoism doesn’t teach Christian fundamental beliefs nor is it used as fundamental law.

Mormonism doesn’t either.

If you really believe people have to be Christians to have basic moral principles or be good people I just feel sorry for you dude.

If you think that divine right has any real weight than you’re saying we would’ve been better off under the British Crown.

The Separation of Church and state wasn’t instituted to just protect Christians it was added to ensure that a governing or political body could never use it much like the British Empire did for control as well.

This ensures that religious freedom goes both ways.

The Roman Catholic Church is on a level of corruption far past most federal governments. It’s been proven throughout history. You’re free to be a Christian all you want but you can’t force your beliefs on others.

You’re glazing over the fact the people who literally established the country believed in religious tolerance despite having beliefs of their own.

Just because someone isn’t Christian or believe in a one “God” doesn’t mean they don’t have spiritual beliefs either.

Islam is comparable to Christianity because it’s the second biggest religion in the world. They believe in a god and divine right much like Christians do.

The thread asked about “god” not Christianity in particular.

Like I already said if you really believe in a religious theocracy than you’re no different than a communist or socialist.

In order for everyone to have freedom we have to live in a secular society whether you like it or not. If it violates the morals of society then it will be punished.

I don’t want drag queens shaking their balls in children’s faces or kids taking ****ing Luporlide but I also don’t want the government pounding on my door ready to drag me to the gallows to be hung or shot for not being a fundamentalist Christian or for “sinning”.

Neither is right. You can argue the slippery slope rhetoric can go either way. I know you’re not stupid I’m just confused how you can’t see that.

I do believe in freedom, and I wouldn't want Christianity forced on people, but I would like to see schools teach a comprehensive view of creation vs evolution (a mathematical impossibility btw)

I am only demonstrating what happens to a society, America in particular when you take God out of the picture.
Muslims are not comparable to Christians. Mohammad and Christ had very different teachings, and society reflects that.

I'd argue the complete opposite.

The reason these Westoid/Americucks have turned their backs on God/Religion is precisely because they haven't been bombed enough. Starbucks lattes, Hollyjew capechit movies, McDonald's and Popeyes, 2000 dollar Jordans, gas guzzling SUVs, etc.,

Atheism hasn always been byproduct of excess and hedonism. When life is too good and easy, you turn away from God.

It's only in those poor countries that people absolutely need to turn to God for the strength to keep going.

Nobody in history has turned to atheism when in the trenches of war, the slums, during famine, plague, catastrophe, etc.,.

Atheism is absolutely Western Excess. It's easy to be an atheist when you're a privileged and sheltered ****g0t with a full stomach.

what people?
Iran is the fastest growing Christian country there is, China has more Christians than the U.S.
Are people leaving it here in America, yes..and we see what society turns into..but there are still thousands of people coming to Christ. Infact even in Israel there is a huge movement of Messianic Jews (Jews that accept Christ as their savior) occurring. People have been trying to kill off the one true God for millennia, yet He still reigns.

Muslims are turning to Christ at an unprecedented rate btw

If an ugly manlet atheist has already been rejected by his father, how do you expect him to believe in THE Father? It's just not going to happen, and you are just wasting time.

Just observe the reality around you and know that God is inherently True.
I am not ugly nor a manlet.

People who believe in god are likely afraid of living life on life's terms, so they are cowardly and delusional from fear.

I love many ideas in religion, but it's obviously not real and that's why there have been so many "sinners". They simply don't believe the religious nonsense rules.

There has NEVER been compliance with jewish religion since it was introduced into Europe, because people don't believe it.

It's why we have Santa and elves and not Jesus celebrations, etc.

Just so you are aware, I don't want Americans bombed lol.
And that claim is very wrong...not at all...far from. When Muslims were prosperous was when they were the most adherent to God. This was during the 7th-13th century.

I agree that in times of ease it may be easier to forget and turn away from God.

This is pure feminine projection. It is simply observably false.

The bravest, most courageous, strongest men with the strongest conviction throughout human history have all been religious men.

These are the men who marched to their death to defend their country, their people, and their way of life.
These are the men that gladly strap themselves with C4 to blow themselves up for their cause.
These are the men who get in the ring to fight and risk life ending injuries.
These are the men that willingly set themselves on fire to protest.

To make some half ass made up claim that these people are simply religious because they are afraid/coward/fear is pure delusional comical level of cope that directly goes against reality.

Yes, men like Khabib Nurmagomedov, those Chechen soldiers, those Mongolian hordes, Muhammad Ali, the Samurais, the ancient Spartans and Greeks, yeah those guys are just cowards and cope with religion. Right.

You are fkn retarded AF. For real. Stop talking.

You know it's bad when you need Messianic Jews to prompt the numbers up lol. You act like numbers mean something - Abraham himself alone was a nation.

All of this doesn't matter - we can discuss the colors of the walls all we want but we still need to build a home. Let's see who is more of a God - Jesus or Allah. When we figure that out, logic dictates we should follow that God.

God ends up kind of asocial studied alone.

Christ is more social and helps design a society.

You are the one that claimed "Christianity is dying"..if you don't like that argument..than why did you use it?

But okay, let's start with Prophecy.
Jesus full-filled over 200 prophecies, and we are currently seeing many more happen before our eyes. Wanna start a list?

Hell, even the first recorded names in the Torah show the Gospel Message of Christ..
