Pretty sure skill is part of being an athlete, but for pure athleticism, Gretzky is not at the top. For those who think he was slow or not athletic at all, I offer you:

Yes, Lebron is 6'8 and 250lb. So what? Is he the biggest physical freak the NBA has ever seen? Not even fkn close. Wilt, David Robinson, Young Shaq, Dwight Howard, etc.,. Is he the quickest? Nope. Derrick Rose, Allen Iverson, Russel Westbrook, etc.,. Is he the highest jumper? Again, nope. Lebron just happens to be the sturdiest guy with the ability to score baskets. Hence, the only record he holds is a one pertaining to longevity.
In a sport where Wilt Chamberlain exist, Lebron can never be the freakiest NBA player of all time.
