So what do I do in my situation.

I love the 42inch OLED, I bought it on sale.

But it feels too big, my desk is only 23 inches deep.

Do I get a monitor arm and bring the desk forward and push the monitor back, buy a bigger desk or get a smaller monitor lol

Monitor arms are night and day difference for desk space. I have a small desk and I am able to run a dual monitor and maintain all my desk space to have my speaker amp, goxlr, iPad, phone charger still sit on top of my desk.

A monitor arm is probably the cheapest option, and you can go the amazon way and return it if you don't like it.

I just got a new arm for my gfs ultrawide too, the base for the acer predator x34 is massive and kills the entire desk.

I haven't used a monitor stand in so long, I still have 2 of them wrapped up in the packaging because all my monitors go directly onto a fully articulating arm.

The LG c2 42 says it's 21lbs without the base so just get one rated for a little more to be safe.

Nothing to contribute here, but yours used to have a TV mounted above the monitors. Changed a lot. Who’s the golden statue of thought? Is that kratos?!

Lol surprised you remember that. That was a long time ago when I lived at my parents.

Now days that tv is on a rolling TV mount and I use it for my racing sim. That way I can roll it right up to my steering wheel for max immersion.

The gold thing on top of my pc? Its the base of the lamp, it's a gold sloth lol, it's my gfs.

I was tempted to ask for a link to purchase it at, but wait no. I mean the kratos statue.

The lamp I now notice which is seriously cool.

Theres road hog from overwatch, a day of the dead skull, and a samurai armor from a bottle of whiskey.

The big cutout is silver surfer

Megaman and pathfinder from apex legends hanging on the back panel

Silver surfer pop on the right speaker

Zenyatta pop from overwatch on the left speaker

All might pop inside my pc case

My OG Alienware from back in the day. I also have the matching keyboard and mouse. The AW branded BenQ monitor is really rare. I haven't seen the monitor on ebay for years.

For modern gaming, I have an Alienware Aurora R12 for sim racing and my old Alienware 15 for browsing the web. I might order the M18 this year...I used to be very into PC gaming but now I just stick to consoles...

I picked this up recently for my console video game collection

i9 13900k, RTX 4080, Samsung G8 Oled 175hz ultrawide monitor. Killer combo but goddamn I get bored of gaming so fast. Boot up cyberpunk to see all the fuzz on overdrive, its just the same **** with brighter lights, not worth it at all to have upgraded my system. pretty much at the end game of gaming setup and have no desire to play anything.

Nice setup brah. The mouse cord going directly to the left doesn't fuk with ya? That would annoy the hell outta me, I always gotta route it coming directly from behind the monitor

I thought the silver surfer was kratos!

And I remember everything. I may smoke weed but I supplement with ginseng and ginkgo! So I get to keep my long term memory In tact.

My alcohol days are more of a blur.

I take viagra too so I still got a raging throbbing woody when I have sex with my women!

Else both maybe been gone by now.

We just got moved into our new house, so I'm still trying to figure out what to do with mouse and keyboard wires. I don't do wireless mice and keyboards.

Also, just ordered a different headset holder to get it off the desktop.

Thanks! I’ve been wanting to get another case but the airflow in this one is absolutely phenomenal so I can’t find a good reason for something else.

MSI is my go-to GPU since EVGA is out of the picture now. I’ve always had good luck with anything MSI.
