It was people’s hopium/copium lol. I wasn’t expecting it, Coalition is cooking.

Enjoying the look of Starfield. Would it run well on my 3060? Don't wanna upgrade just yet.

Seems to have a ton of systems and things to do. The combat is definitely improved from the last time I saw it, but the thing that has me most concerned is the lack of an overall story? Seems mostly like a space exploration sim, which I don't mind at all but I get no sense of urgency as to an overall plot.

Yeah, I don't expect top tier combat but it looks decent enough given it doesn't seem like the complete main focus of the game.

It does look a little floaty but they were also in space/low gravity I think.

Lol what? Have you ever played an elder scrolls game? Skyrim the dragon is about to scorch the earth but you can spend 100s of hours dicking around. Seems like you have never played a game that isn't a 2deep4u walking simulator.

Honestly, just about as good a showcase as it gets. I don't know what the possible FUKK anyone who is disappointed expected. Apart from the japanese chit that I personally don't care about, there were absolute bombs dropped.

-Fable looked incredible (in-game footage supposedly). Hopefully you can choose a male protagonist, like you could in 3.

-Avowed looked great but being an Obsidian RPG adds major points already. Visual style is not my favorite though.

-Hellblade 2 LOOKED amazing, though they should have showed gameplay.

-Clockwork Revolution came out of nowhere. Made by inXile and the guy behind Arcanum (one of my fav games of all time). IN!

-Microsoft Flight Sim looks like a wet dream for anyone into flying. I might actually get into it if time ever permits.

-Forza looked great as expected.

-Then there is Starfield.

Some more stuff looked good but they really rushed through. That would be my only criticism is that most trailers were a bit too obscure, without a lot of info about the games. If they showed less titles but more gameplay on the main announcements, this would have been 10/10.

I've played more Bethesda games than you son. They all have an overall story, I'm asking if Starfield has one because the presentation didn't make that clear for me. Yes, while I love to dik around for 100 hours I also like my games to have a plot.

Avowed gave me the impression it could be a dark fantasy RPG... instead we got a light, simplistic, almost dreamworks-like child friendly adventure, very disappointed with that one.

Fable looked woke af, I see no hope there.

Also everything "AAA" gave me the impression was heavily "inspired" by something else we've seen before and lacked originality

What was woke about Fable?

Bioshock you mean Clockwork Revolution? That game is made by the guy who made Arcanum. You see a lot of inspiration from Arcanum in the trailer.

No Mans Sky/Mass Effect comparison is unavoidable if you're making an open world space game.

I agree with Avowed visuals. Not what I'd hoped for but it being an Obsidian RPG, the game still has high potential for being great.

Supposedly the main quest is pretty indepth and is about 40-50 hours long. Sounds less urgent than Skyrim though. You will be uncovering pieces of the artifact (a remnant of some ancient civilization) for the Constellation, which will reveal some more of the mystery by 'speaking' to you. Could be good but this being Bethesda, it will be retarded with some great moments here and there.
