By immediately getting triggered I assume you might be one of the copemaxxers.

I said 10% are happy, the other are not. Most family people hate their life, especially men.
Life before was more patriarchy orientated which benefits both males and females therefore people wanted kids as well. The modern day idea of a relationship is a huge nut-crusher for men and without the man's motivation in the family, many women get miserable as well. People not wanting to have kids is quite a straightforward answer how modern-day family life is atrocious.

I agree with you as to some idealized version of family life but that is not the reality for most families.
You have taken breaks from this forum for "mental health" (you publicly announced them and requested mods to ban you temporarily).

You really shouldn't be speaking to the stress within a marriage, because: (a) you never had a long term one; and (b) your actual existence is stressful enough it seems.

But this does not apply to everyone. You know this, and I know it, and your 10s of thousands of posts on this forum alone trying to chit on any possibility of a happy marriage says a lot more about you than it does about marriage (between people who share common values) itself.

I enjoy my alone time way too much. I'd be miserable having to share my space with wife and kids 24/7.

If your a wagie and have a family of course you'll be miserable since you're basically a slave. You need to be financially free to have kids these days

Everyone here is old as fukk. Time has passed to make your decision and live with it. No point in arguing like 22 year olds. No one is going to change their mind.

Kinda crazy how both men and women are now resisiting something that's been ingrained in us for our entire existence. No one's coping about anything. And yeah they may complain but their life is definitely more fulfilling than singlecels. Most people want a family and for good reason. Threads like this are cope, just like SS copes by getting online attention from weird men.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

It’s not like they just take take take the whole time. They give back in their own way.

Do you think these people had kids because they were expected to (going through the motions) or wanted to?

Global homo has shifted the conversation entirely. It used to be "what can we build together?" Now it's "what can this person do for me?"

As opposed to your riveting conversations? I fukin celebrated your achievement of talking about somebody other than yourself for the first time in that other thread.

Once your kid is about 6 you can start training them to clean up the house. The errands you do for a kid are mostly stuff you do anyway like eating/washing clothes. Kids don't seek attention forever but it keeps you active, young and engaged in life when they do...like reliving your own childhood with an adult perspective. Honestly, I pity anyone that never got to experience the love of a child...a healthy parent/child love is the truest love that exist...they love you all the same when you look your worst or had the worst of days...hell, some kids even love parents that absolutely treated them like crap/abandoned them. And in your case it's a bond that doesn't simply involve spreading one's legs so a man can touch your private parts.

I loved every second of when my daughter was young. She was so much fun to play Barbies with and take her to amusement parks. That was the best time of my life and I miss it.

Now kids are all on iPads so there’s no interaction with parents. I played board games with my daughter for hours and now kids and parents don’t do that anymore.

One of my best friends got married and was always bragging about how much he got laid beforehand. He knocked his wife up sometime shortly before the wedding or on the honeymoon. After the kid was born he was able to get away for a brief fishing trip where he told me how the sex had pretty much slowed to a trickle after they got married among other things that changed. I also used to enjoy being around his wife but as soon as they tied the knot it seemed like she turned on me because I was a bad influence on her husband since I was the free single guy. Haven't saw them in like a year.
