Here’s what I ended up with. I’m a bit torn and probably need some luck with Taylor.

QB: Fields
RB: Taylor, Aaron Jones, Dalvin Cook, Brian Robinson, AJ Dillon, Singletary, Zeke
WR: Tyreek, Christian Watson, Jeudy, Jakobi Meyers, Chark, Osborn
TE: Kmet
D: Pitt

I was excited to finally be able to dump Jones and not deal with the maddening GB play calling but I ended up getting Jones in the 4th and Dillon way later so I couldn’t pass it up. If either gets hurt the other will go off.

very good OL. jordan love will need to lean on both those guys as he navigates his first full year. aaron jones is a top dog, i know he'll never get the full job with dillon around but he makes up for it with efficiency.

Keep an eye on Jaxon Smith-Njigba. He has looked fantastic in training camp and pre season for the Seahawks. He could get a lot of looks with opposing teams focusing on Metcalf and Lockett

Jones gets next to zero goal line carries. It’s infuriating. He’d be a top 5 guy if it wasn’t for Dillon siphoning all of the Carries near the end zone. Honestly felt like a steal getting him as late as I did. Just funny I ended up with him because if you go back to previous years threads I bitch about it an awful lot.

oh i know. but at the RB2 spot you'll take that. he'll never hit 19 total TDs again but 1500 scrimmage yards + a half dozen scores is doable.

Thanks. I'm really bearish on Moore and Allen but on all the depth charts they were the right picks at the time. Hopefully Cooper can be serviceable but he's no spring chicken. Ultimately trying to parlay 2x Wrs into a better Wr - won't happen though.

He was a major part o the passing attack with the 1's this week (with Knox injured, though). Knox doesn't have that upside.
Thanks. Might make the switch now. Knox did me proud a year or two ago so I have a soft spot for him. Usually a serviceable TE appears on waivers at some point, helps it's a ten man league.
*edit he's already been taken

Any chance Watson puts up genuine WR2 numbers?

I believe you but do any teams have a WR3 that put up serviceable numbers?

Yes. Absolutely. I think that is the expectation at this point. There is some risk there because Watson, Doubs, Reed, and Musgrave have all flashed at times throughout camp, but there's no way Love will throw enough to support four fantasy relevant receivers. They all have different roles so they may mesh well as a receiver group (Watson big play guy, Doubs possession, Reed slot, and Musgrave as a move TE), but there's only so many balls to go around. Love will eventually show his tendencies and one or two will emerge as real assets for this year, but there is some risk as to who. Right now, I like Watson and Doubs the best as at least not rookies, but we'll have to see. I think the expectation is that Watson should emerge as a WR2, but given the risk, he's better to draft as a flex if you can.

BTW, if you play best ball (i.e. on Underdog or whatever), guys like Watson and Hyatt are basically cheat codes because in best ball, you don't have to guess which games are going to be the ones with 200 yards and 3 TDs (or endure the 5 point games in between…).

There are teams that have in the past, but not many and I don't really have much confidence that Seattle will. They have two stud RBs, too, and they also randomly throw a couple balls to all four of their TEs every game, LOL. It's a tough receiver group to invest in outside Metcalf, although I like JSN as a dynasty asset. He has a load of talent. His path to relevance this year probably includes an injury or hit the wall situation for Lockett.

I think Watson's in a great position this year. Likely a lot of points scored in that division. Maybe Doubs will improve but he looked awful last year while Watson was one of the most efficient WRs in the league.

JSN apparently broke his hand this weekend and had surgery today. Only questionable for the opener, but it seems unlikely to me that he will play and it seems likely that the Seahawks will ease him back in once he's back. Just a little more uncertainty around him. He's still a great talent for the future, but he's looking more and more risky for this year unless he falls into the last couple rounds.

Same with the Vikings and Addison. Specially if you are in a keeper league.

Had my draft last night. We play 2 QB's and no kicker. 1/2 PPR league

QB
Jalen Hurts
Kirk Cousins

RB
Breece Hall
Kenneth Walker III
Ezekiel Elliot
Jeff Wilson

WR
Justin Jefferson
Amon Ra St Brown
Christian Watson
Jordan Addison
Jaxon Smith Njigba
Terry McLaurin

TE
TJ Hockenson

D
Patriots

Going to try and trade JJ away. Its a keeper league but I can only keep one player twice. This is the last year and he goes on the open market.

I basically abandoned the RB till late but hope to trade JJ for one and another WR or QB.

You're too heavy at Wideout. I'd keep JJ unless you're getting CMC for him and I'd sooner try parlay Watson for Rachaad White. Baker is king of the Checkdowns, in 1/2 PPR, white could end up top 15.

I went heavy on WR on purpose as I really want to trade JJ.

We play 2 WR but then we have a Flex position and a Open position which you are a idiot not to play a QB for the open. So essentially I would be playing 3WR's per week. I have 6 WR's now but trading JJ would leave 5 which is where I want to.

One guy has Rachaad White and Josh Allen, I wonder if he would trade them to be for JJ, I need to look at the value yet. Just looked at that off the top of my head.

Hurts and Allen in a superflex league would be pretty spicy.

Rostering Hurts and Allen in a 2QB league is absurd. May be enough to make up for JJ and carry your less than average RB.

Can't hurt to offer if you think he'll accept it. Allen goes ahead of JJ in most superflex drafts. Especially 0.5ppr.

Addison (concussion) Viking Tiny man
JSN (broken hand) Seahawks Medium Man
Quentin Johnson Chargers Big man
Zay flowers ravens Tiny man
Jonathan Mingo panthers Big man

QJ looks to be the best of the 5 after JSn injury- Best QB tallest fast His only down side is kennen allen mike williams ekeler- Pretty much need KA or MikeW to get injured which have a high chance as always.
JSN stash for 2nd half of the year
Zay Flowers has the least amount of competetion he is pretty small but fast
Mingo is screwed Bama QB Bryce 2 short
Addison has a good opportunity but concussion

I'm trying to get flowers and QT and JSN.

With all this Hockenson contract nonsense I'm starting to like Addison the most of the bunch. They could trade Hockenson, Addison proves to be a better target earner, or any injury could make him break out.

I like all of them though. Maybe Mingo the least since it's not just him that has to hit but Young as well.

I'm a homer but I would say Addison as well. He was clearly the best route runner in the draft. I'll take that every day. Addison has had a great camp. Even if Hock stays, which I fully believe he will. Addison should be able to take over Thielens roll pretty fast.

The Vikes will sign Hock and JJ to a long term deal before the season starts is my guess.

From watching camp, I like Flowers the best. That guy has been electric, he has the college production, and is a great route runner. I expect he'll take over as the WR1 in Baltimore in short order. The question with him is volume. Even as a 1, Andrews is still the #1 target. They're supposed to throw more under Monken, but will it be enough?

I like Addison as well. Minny is a great spot for him, and JJ will take a lot of defensive pressure off Addison. QJ I'm not sold yet for this year, but the potential is there. I think he will be better in the future once they move on from Williams (he and Williams are redundant). I don't see it with JSN, especially dealing with an early season injury. There are too many established WRs in a run-first offense. He's a great player, but again, probably better once they move on from Lockett.

I really like all of these guys from a long term prospective, but for this year, I like Flowers and Addison the best.

With Jonathan Taylor looking for a trade I wonder where he ends up? Need it to be somewhere that won’t tank his usage. I don’t need 2 Aaron Jones.

League size? Is it also straight up 2QB or 1QB + QB/RB/WR/TE?

It depends on what pick you get or how your leaguemates value QBs but I'm a fan of grabbing 2 top 10 QBs to start the draft if I can then just drafting normally after. Maybe grabbing someone like Purdy or Howell if they last until round 7 for insurance or trade bait.

I rarely do superflex drafts though. Just a few mocks to help friends prepare for theirs but I like how the teams look when you don't have to start QBs like Stafford or Carr.

i'm pretty sure everyone will be grabbing a qb in the first 2 rds. i'm hoping i can get a top tier QB and WR first 2rd and wing it from there. maybe Daniel jones for 2nd qb can be good this year or Rodgers since everyone sleeping on him.
