on one hand, this is excessive for some LARPers who got carried away.

on the other hand, in the context of attempting to overthrow a government, this is a pretty lenient sentence from the government you tried to overthrow.

The Proud Boy who smashed through a window to the US Capitol with a police riot shield on January 6, 2021, allowing the first wave of rioters to storm the building as members of Congress were being evacuated was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison.

Images of Dominic Pezzola, nicknamed “Spazzolini,” using the police riot shield to first breach the Capitol building quickly became a symbol of the violence that day.

“The reality is you were the one who did it,” District Judge Timothy Kelly said during the hearing Friday. “You were the one who smashed that window in and let people begin to stream into the Capitol building and threaten the lives of our lawmakers. It is not something I would have ever dreamed I’d see in our country.”

“You were really, in some ways, the tip of the spear,” the judge said.

Yep, that’s all he did. He had no intention/ability to hurt a building full of police and civilians. He simply burned down an empty building with an uncontrolled fire located within a dense population. That’s all he did…

If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m not saying 17 years was heavy handed. I’m saying 4 years for the other offense was very light handed. Almost as light handed as BLM protestors getting millions of taxpayer dollars, being let out, etc.

When you see the whole picture, you’ll start to see how one sided “justice” is being doled out.

If you guys REEE’ing about justice can’t see that, then you’re complicit in the one-sided political nature of these sentences.

Basically what is happening with the intense prosecution of the Jan 6 protestors and Donald Trump, and the seemingly very light prosecution of BLM and ANTIFA protestors...who caused much more death and damage, and in fact cases where they often get monetarily rewarded?


The Powers that Be are saying, if you are a conservative Republican, you WILL obey us and the narrative that we are pushing. Woke leftist protest? Good. Conservative right protest? Bad. Go against the MIC and the paid for politicians who want endless wars and no term limits? Even worse.
