i would assume these are in fairly quiet areas of the war reasonably deep behind enemy lines, just sof things. hence why its single pickup trucks. probably after intel and more technical units you'll be able to ambush far from the front where they're relaxed and likely carrying more vital informationlmao, or these are the vehicles they have.... The most brutal video from Ukraine was the POV in the trenches fighting chechens and it doesn’t even touch this. The video of one Russian infiltrating a trench and getting a triple headshot and two prisoners is still better.

Dunno if you will respond to the other post, but I kind of get what you are saying. Even in the States I noticed how they had a very strong Left vs Right "us vs them" views. Even though I pretty much instantly didn't trust the government, because I was born in the USSR. Since I was a child - I always had an inner voice or for whatever reason, stuff wouldn't influence me half as much as other people. I was self-aware from a young age, but chose to ignore it. Maybe it's the slight autism or maybe it's because everyone has that voice or thought within them, but choose to brush it aside. Everything you are taught from birth can be undone if it doesn't have a universal truth.

But it requires a lot of comprehension of how propaganda and psychology works. You can either gain that intuitive thing from within yourself or from observing other people. I have never had a patriotic bone in my body. For me, it was always nonsense. When someone taught me something I would question it. The biggest brainwashing that affected me was being taught by the media, school, and church that we are all the same in terms of biology. But even then I couldn't bring myself to love people who weren't quite like me. Something about it didn't add up and my brain just wouldn't accept it. When I was taught to love, it would quickly turn into hate and I didn't understand why until I was in my 20s.

At the beginning of this war, I had the same opinion I would have if the US attacked Canada. Phuck, brahs, take whatever the phuck you want, and our new leader is Trump, or Putin, or whomever. Why go die for no reason? What the phuck does it matter what the name of your Country is, and who you pay taxes to?

this, what you are saying is an analogy to immunization. You were removed from that particular representation of reality, we can say, grown resistant to further infestation. But, I still don’t think average folk has a chance. To build independent point of view, one would need an independent source of information fed into that information bubble he/she lives in. Propaganda is slick, everything you hear is true and logical. It is just not the whole story. I went off on a tangent, because I didn't like the way you spoke as though there are no exceptions. You said it in a matter-of-fact way that Soviet people spoke to me since I was a child. That makes us seem like dumb animals who have no agency and no choice in our thought process and only the propaganda machine defines who we are.

They present stuff without offering any differing viewpoint, but on some level a person has the ability to decide whether or not it is true, no? I wish people would stop and think, "Hmm, something is off here." Instead there's barely any time for introspection; you are either too busy with work or taking care of your family while being bombarded with media cuckery everywhere you go.

Some (many?) people really are like blank slates who just follow everything that is taught without thinking about it. My mom, for example, was more prone to religious indoctrination than most I know. But I wouldn't say everyone. After all, patriotism wasn't enough to prevent family members from fleeing Ukraine or choosing not to fight. It's more shocking seeing long time friends of family, who are supposedly Christians, talking about wanting to "kill the invaders".

After I realized that even I was brainwashed in America to some degree, it made me angry at myself for falling to deception, so I vowed to never be deceived again. Now I try to find the ultimate truth, whatever that may be, without first seeking my own subjective opinions. I feel bad for people who kill their brethren and don't realize it until many years later how foolish they were. There are no real winners in wars when it comes to the common people.
