People have been in trouble for lying on that form, a lot of people have gone to prison for it but not as many as they should. The thing is that most people don't boast about smoking crack and being in the national spotlight also will bring attention to yourself. Usually people who get in trouble for lying on that form are facing much more serious charges. As far as lying on federal documents, it's one of those things that chances are you won't get caught and most of the time they wont make a big deal about it but if they do, get the lube because they are going in dry. It's kind of like CA and CO where people are working in these dispensaries. Sure the state doesn't care but it's still federally illegal and the feds don't really go after them BUT if they do, and they will sometimes if they suspect something else is going on, you better not be involved.
