How's your wife's son doing?
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Great, looks like a copy of me, i put him in with my penis and took him out with my own hands a year ago, cut the cord myself,

Owned an AMG and several other cars for many years, kind of a pity to be honest, so much money lost on gasoline and maintenance. Should have gone ev long ago.

Yeah, are you sure about your math? Because this math has already been done, you are living during the time of the exponential curve, EV is now 18% of all car sales, this happened really quickly, you can either talk **** online or you could make Hundreds of thousands of dollars in Tesla stock, the choice is yours.

The $24,000 battery is the new one, every day theres new bull**** stories about how Elon musk is going to go to prison and Tesla’s gonna go bankrupt and how EV is done, etc.

Previous model 3 performance crew owner checking in.

IMO it was a neat experience but it wasn't perfect and the rest of the industry has caught up to or surpassed most of Tesla's tech.

Also, the actual driving experience was extremely soulless and not all that exciting. The straight line performance was hilarious but that party trick wears out quickly.

Also, these things have become like vanilla ice cream on the streets. They're everywhere and not really special or interesting cars anymore.

Sig line can't be a novel

Yeah, not that model. I just posted the top of the line to show what they're capable of. The base models run about 75k. It's not set in stone. Toyota is suppose to be releasing an EV that can go 800miles on a single charge so I'll definitely be looking out for that too.

Sure aside from the fact that you probably paid upwards of $50k for a car that's actually worth like $30k

The big legacy carmakers don't even make money on sales of new cars, Tesla does

Family got model Y,
Went yesterday to take a glance.

First impressions so far:

all of those videos of parts coming off the car, chipped paint, poorly executed trim etc. and those are all complete bull****, either a used older car is being used for such videos, or the video maker has an agenda, perhaps they work at a Ford factory, so they damage the car, and then make those videos, the reality is that there is absolutely no problem with the build quality.

That being said, the quality of the actual materials and how the car is put together is in line with New $40,000 cars, trim on a $55,000 Lexus, or something is obviously going to be more expensive and better executed. No denying that. Door handles design is garbage, getting in and out especially in the backseat is poorly done design wise.

Will report back with more experiences when driving and in snow etc.

Overall impression so far is very positive. Thou my big ass would be getting model x.

I'm just waiting for EV adoption to hit a point where they can start fleecing everyone through electricity costs, taxes, tire costs (more weight and torque), software locks, etc

EV Sales are going down though, Tesla's latest results were bad too.

That said I'm pro EV's BUT only with modern solid state batteries, current EV's are garbage with old lithium battery tech that if go on fire you're fcked. Also range is still a big problem, especially in colder weather.

Maybe in 5 or 10 years but now? Lol better of with an ICE car.

Imho this is what’s being said on TV, these people are absolute scum, and their advertisers are ice cars, this is why they are going to fill our heads with absolute garbage about Tesla, and the slow down in the third quarter was because they are revamping the factory to speed it up, This was planned and well known in advance,

The batteries are totally fine, plenty of people drive long distances in cold weather, there are chargers everywhere. I see it as garbage being fed by the Ford and GM advertisers in the media.

Like this stuff about being burned alive for five days inside Tesla, or being charged $21,000 for driving in the rain, etc., just a total horse****, these are statistically by far the safest cars in the world.

If you compare Toyota Camry to Tesla, model 3, Camry is actually more expensive, and Tesla has many more features and technology, and then you have to consider the price of gas, there’s no way a sane human being would choose a Camry over a tesla anymore.

Personally I love driving Teslas, once wife’s lease is up might make the move to a Y or X.

I’m keeping my good ol’ V8 Tundra for towing.
