Yeah it's unfortunate that he most likely doesn't get charged with anything. He definitely was going for a dirty play though. Unfortunately for him, instead of just really hurting the guy, he ended up killing the guy. But that's what happens when you go for a dirty play. You increase the odds of something horrendous occurring.
