He should be hung from the gallows. He is completely evil.

Just a bad guy.

The fact that Trump could not see that goes along with what I said all long. He is a narcissist who wants to be loved by everyone. He is blinded by that.

Even those who want to see him fall.
How is the person that was responsible for the operations of the NIH, which oversaw gain-of-function research of coronaviruses at the Wuhan Lab(which Fauci lied about under oath) not in Prison?

The lockdowns he continuously clamored for over the course of 24 straight months destroyed this country with civil unrest and later, inflation.

Bruh, I remember him trying to shut down travel from China when it started and the democrats collectively pissing and moaning to the point where they blocked him from being able to do that. I also remember all the people getting together in mass gatherings for the "summer of love" and "mostly peaceful" riots that dems collectively cheered on during prime pandemic days.

That and he launched project warp speed that heavily sped up the vaccine development.

I don't disagree with what you're saying but can you imagine the sht storm Biden would've gotten from Trump n Republicans if he was president at the start of all this?

What rationale does there need to be beyond trying to minimize spread of a disease? It's not hard to understand why they recommended it. At the time, it wasn't even understood covid was airborne except by a few scientists.

The virus was new. The science literally didn't exist at the time. Policymakers had to act on their best judgment and expectations of how the virus worked. The recommendations were totally reasonable at the time because people thought it was mostly droplet spread. IDK what more you want. Trump gave Fauci a medal for his service as his last act in office. He also recommended vaccinations to everyone. I'll never understand this right wing obsession with Fauci. He's become a scapegoat for antiscientific babyrage.

I give Trump and Co. a pass for March 2020. Anything beyond June 2020 they handled horribly. Trump did try to reel it in and not approve later Covid spending(aka greatest transfer of wealth in human history) but that was quickly shot down. I don’t really give a fukk what Trump recommends because I can think for myself.

It’s not an obsession with Fauci. Rather, it’s just valid criticisms tons of actions that resulted in harm. He has lied repeatedly and helped pushed policies which were extremely detrimental to our country. And this goes back farther than Covid, it’s just that his behavior involving Covid was more egregious.

They always knew it was an airborne respiratory virus.

Except at peaceful BLM protests...

Why did he change his mind about the lab leak theory?

And just like with AIDS, Fauci dropped the ball.

From what I understand, there could be two reasons.

Reason 1: A diplomatic crisis with China could harm more people than even the virus lol.

Reason 2: It seems plausible and more likely that the virus had a natural origin, as highlighted in a few papers.

Is Donald Trump a leftist? Because he said vaccines work and gave Fauci a medal. Fauci also didn't contradict anything. The article is pure spin.

Nope. They told us from the get-go to wear a fuking mask and stay 6ft away from each other. Closed down the entire country for that very reason too.. Even the fuking BEACHES were closed because "Zomg teh airborne virus is spreading!"

At this point you're just arguing because you want to have an argument to defend your sacred covid with. Everybody else sees through your bullshiit too.

Ok so you don't know the difference between droplet transmission and airborne. Google it before you comment. This is why it is so frustrating. When people are so profoundly uneducated, how do you even begin to explain the situation to them?

Ok so if they thought it was droplet, doesn't a six foot rule make sense? Derp. Why is this hard for you to grasp? It turned out to be airborne. But the initial recommendations were made assuming droplet transmission.

Also, you didn't really demonstrate from that that you understand the distinction.

PS: If they had known it was airborne, you'd have had a total China style lockdown rather than "distancing", which I fully agree would have been the best move. What you do in an airborne scenario is full blown quarantine.
