I never took the bus at all in school. The reason was I lived in the city but we used my grandparents address in the suburbs so I could go to a better school and someone would give me a ride everyday. My family could’ve done years on felony fraud and tax evasion, but thankfully never got caught the entire time and I would’ve been surrounded by gang warfare daily if I went to the high school in my own neighborhood srs.
But yeah, kids should probably take the bus on their own. It gives them independence and teaches them responsibility/scheduling. I wouldn’t drive my kids to school unless they couldn’t be bussed.

Just LOL at a bunch of "men" worrying about how their kids (or even worse, someone else's kids, double LOL in that case) get to school. That should be your wife's job.
Marry someone who's competent and never think about it again. (semi-serious)

Oh man, this is actually a thing.
I got stuck behind a school bus this morning, and sure enough, every third stop it made was at a driveway with the kid waiting in an idling car with an obese mouth-breathing parent just sitting there 100 feet from their doorstep. It was 70° out
I could understand if it was freezing or pouring rain, but in perfect weather?
