I'd love to see how many times in a financial judgement, the amount gets not only reduced by a significant amount, but payment delayed as well. If it's common practice, then no big deal. But if this is unprecedented (like it sounds like it is), what does that tell you about who owns the US justice system?

We all know the issue. It’s not that he didn’t overvalue his property for a better interest rate, it’s that so many people do this that it’s an industry norm. Prosecuting him for it clearly indicates a targeted campaign, because if we prosecuted everyone else in the same manner, half of NYC landlords would be in a similar boat.

Not saying if it’s right or wrong, just stating how it is perceived. The political implications of this, I cannot predict.
