If you make a 6 figure salary, you're accumulating 6 figures every year

Only if you're a railroad mogger living with your mom and have no expenses.

No, that's not what it means. Actually, not sure if serious--save 6 figures after all expenses and invest. Not everyone who makes 6 figures does that.

I understand that. But if you make 6 figures a year after taxes and live like you only make 50-75k a year, after only 4 years you will have saved 100-200k.

It's not rocket science how to make 6 figs and how to save 6 figs. The problem is people tend to spend money as soon as they make it

My main point was finding the right investment strategy to turn 100k into a million is probably significantly harder than saving 100k, unless you want to play it the safe way and put it in an index fund.

that's called simping. perhaps showing her the lifestyle then taking it all away to see if she really likes you could be a fun experiment.

No it's not. It's called living your life, and then you'll attract women with similar lives and interests. If what you're saying is you like living broke in a box, then ok. Maybe you'll find a like-minded woman if you're very interesting or a brilliant artist, but honestly you don't sound like it.

it sounds like op is living his life...so why should he spend money on "lifestyle" solely to attract women?

What software do you use to track NW?

Crazy to have your NW go up by 39% in a year. You must be in some risky investments

GJDM.

I just started looking at my retirement plans over the last month. Will probably coast for 10 years and continue maxing investments. After 10, assuming min 4% interest on investments, I will be able to retire and live off of interest just a little under my current salary. If I can't get more than 4%, the world has gone to $hit and it was probably all for naught anyways.
Freedom of speech is a principle pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved and tyranny is erected on its ruins.

Congrats. Don't see why people are hating I don't really see you bragging a lot or anything. Mirin discipline to not say fuk it and leave everything behind.

You have to remember, when you retire, ideally you want to live off of like 3.5-4% of your invested money.

So $1 million will mean $35k-40k/year of free money that should last nearly forever. Only start blowing it if you don't want to pass anything on.
