Didn’t read all of thread but immediately noticed the wokeness in the first episode and quit watching immediately. I actually gave it a shot bc the Critical Drinker and I usually share the same sentiments about movies and shows.

Things I noticed in the first show that hinted this was woke (spoilers obviously):

-Ghoul/cowboy dude has a mixed daughter. What’s the batting average of white men with black women these days? Now I don’t care about blacks being with whites and I probably would have bought it more if it were a black man with a white woman…but they’re really trying to force this at every opportunity and eventually you just see it for what it is. I mean you can have diversity without defying the odds here and blatantly showing everyone your hand.

-Trans solider that is referred to as ‘they’ is cringe as fugg. I literally zoned out of the series at this point.

-black man made to be weak. I’m white but wtf are they doing to black men in shows and movies by making them soft? Only happens in modern woke chit.

-raider leader is a scrawny looking Hispanic woman…you know, because in a post apocalyptic world all you need to survive is girl boss.

Aside from the woke chit, the acting isn’t that great and the dialogue is subpar. It’s also like they got a 13 year old to screen write some of the chit that happens…like one scene where someone is jerking off on a bunk in front of everyone. The show doesn’t know what it wants to be…serious? Crass? Funny? It’s a mess.

Also, I don’t mind a diverse cast in the show btw…fallout always seemed to have an array of people so it’s actually true to the games I think. See! People don’t have a problem with diversity when you actually stick to source material.

Fugg this show though. Will not continue. Also Reacher can go suck a soy boy qawk. Dude is clearly a lib loving Bidencels.

I didn’t even notice anyone refer to the character as “them” to be honest. I also thought it was just a chick with a mustache.

Finished it last weekend, great show.

Luckily I'm not a fragile little bitch so one tranny having a minor role in 2 episodes didn't bother me or deter my enjoyment.

Fun show, felt a ton like actual fallout, did a great job on the lore. I loved the fallout games so I thought this was pretty on point.

fkn one eyed brah was too diverse for my tastes.

In the games there are a lot of butch girls as Brotherhood knights. Especially in Fallout 3 I recall quite a few. There being a tranny in the show isn’t outside the game lore…


Over all it was a GREAT show. It stuck to the lore perfectly.

It's a good show and follows the game's LORE as well as can be expected. The woke level is no higher than other $hittier shows out there, and if you don't look for it, you'll simply enjoy a great tv watching experience.

In many post apocalyptic stories it's pretty common that women disguise themselves as men or pretend to be to avoid being targeted/raped
