If they run Heels Up Harris you know damn well the only thing they are going to push is the fact she would be the first black woman president and naturally the racist and sexist cards will be pulled out if you don't support her.

It doesn't seem to be the case because he's not stepping down as president immediately (he's finishing his term) he's just not running for re-election.

All he's done at this point is endorse her to be the next president. It will be up to the Convention to decide if she is the democrats nominee

This will become a regular thing with Democrats now. If they feel their candidate will lose they will replace them at the last minute because democracy

They already held the primaries, and Biden was the nominee.

By the letter of the law, he has to remain the nominee.

Only if they succeed. If they go through all of this and still lose, I don't see them doing this again unless if absolutely necessary.

Trump probably wishing he picked Tulsi as VP right about now. She bodied Kamala last time they met.

JD Vance left it open for the attack of these are the racist white dudes. I mean that was coming anyway, but you know. It also would have avoided the expected the fake "JD raped me in jr high school stories to surface any day now too".

Remember, they forbade a primary.

Now you get Harris.

So since he's quiting the party can just put whoever they want without holding a primary? That's pretty bull****.

I'm not a Vance fan but it's absolutely retarded to make decisions based on being a p**** who's afraid of Dems calling you racist for being white. Stop being a cuck and advocating for DEI

Republicans should absolutely sue to keep whoever it is off the ballot if the deadlines are passed. Can’t let them set a precedent for just pulling the rug out at the last minute if they’re losing.

The deadline is passed. Republicans ought to do just that. But since most of them are spineless cowards who "don't want to stoop to their level", they won't.

I'm sure there are delegates who are loyal to Biden but ultimately they're going to go with someone who they believe can win. If they don't think Harris can win, it won't be her.

Notable that Obama just refused to endorse Harris. Probably the most politically savvy Democrat there is, great politician

Biden is a huge cuck

Anyways, too early to tell what this means. Nobody really knows if this will be good, bad or indifferent. Also I'd say it's not a 100% it's Kamala. Biden can still release his delegates, even if he endorsed Kamala they can vote for anyone once released.

Democrats are down 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter and just sent in there back-up QB, you'd still rather be Trump right now by a longshot.

It's more like the beginning of the 3rd quarter.

Yeah I guess. Doesn't exactly look very good though - they were pledged to support Biden. Surely if Biden drops out and endorses Kamala, they should really go with his endorsement.

Will be interesting to see independent polling after this…surely polls were what they were because Americans rejected the last 3.5 years of democrat rule, and not just demented Joe right?

I mean you get the same garbage no matter who the left offers up…people realize this don’t they?
