1. What does an investigation have to do with the public seeing a video? The investigation will be these people being interviewed, their bodycam footage being viewed by the investigators etc.

2. If the cop gets reinstated then it will just be an endorsement of a police state-GMP, like the Met have been behaving like they are above the law for a long time & if he gets reinstated then you can almost certainly expect public riots.

Nope, but doesn't it seem strange to you that people guilty of such a heinous attack on the cops were released after just half of the time they can be kept in police custody before an application has to be made to the station superintendent for another 12 hours & beyond that a magistrate? Almost like their cop kicking a tazed & unresponsive person in the head & then stomping on his head lessened their case. Think it was only the brother anyway-the other one would have been under arrest in hospital with brain injuries.

4. Perhaps you missed where I said no video changes anything-the headlock takedown & tazering of him was totally justified as self defence & upholding the law. The problem is purely the fact there was zero threat at that point-both brothers had been nullified & at which point it is just an officer with zero self control behaving like a thug. This video release by the cops & politicians, the media etc trying to somehow justify that head attack is sickening & if you are justifying it in any way then you are a pos-even Andy Burnham who I like.

As far as I am aware they are British citizens living here legally, are well known in their area for doing charity work & weren't committing a crime until the cops got in their face.

Sums it up really-you want a police state where they don't have to follow rules, no repercussions for their actions & are there to mete out physical punishment to those you don't like-because of the colour of their skin. Even if they are totally defenceless having been taken down & shot with electricity & zero danger to anybody.
