Grateful I had the opportunity to remind some of the upper admin that I'm not that dumb and I do have things to contribute (barged in on a meeting i wasn't included in and came through with some great insight)
Getting ready for another meeting today and hopefully we can help some people get healthy
Grateful for my grandmother.

Today I'm grateful for

- breakfast. Had an awesome egg sandwich on a cinnamon raisin bagel along with a cup of Greek yogurt. Tasty as fuk!

- psytrance. This music is going to blow up in the next year or two. Really unique sound and vibes

- spring is definitely here now. Loving this weather and seeing all the plants come back alive and bloom into cool looking flowers. Makes me feel so happy and positive. I'm going to do many things this spring and summer.

- chill out music. Makes me feel at ease and calm. Going to listen to some cafe Del Mar right now now that I'm thinking about it. Good vibes!

Today I am grateful for:

1. Making it back home safely last night

2. 5 guys burger and cajun fries for lunch hnggggggg

3. Haven't heard back from job I want yet but until I do whether it is to schedule the final step or a rejection I'm assuming that I'm still on the short list for the position. I feel at peace whereas in the past these days spent waiting consumed me with worry.

Today I'm grateful for...
...having excellent health insurance. Had a dentist appt., and physical therapy session and won't cost a dime.
...having life experiences that I can use as examples to help steer younger people in the right direction. Feels good being helpful.

Didn't sleep well last night because I was woken up multiple times by my gf's friends being loud until almost 1 am. But I'm grateful that I wasn't too tired and made it through the day.

Started a new book about the history of Irish organized crime and I'm already enjoying it.

Going to do some cardio tonight

- All of a sudden I felt a desire to dust off my French, so I joined a local campus group for Coffee and French speaking, and also matched with a couple girls who speak French.

- Picking my classes for next semester/year and decided I'll throw in Mandarin even though it's not required.

- Spent like the last 6 hours viewing different language videos of Polyglots and stuff, pretty damn cool.

Today I am grateful for

- 60 days, two months sober as of today from opiates. I am so stoked! I can't believe it. I am so happy right now and so proud of myself. I've come a long way in the past two months. I'm no longer the same person that I use to be. I've been soul searching over the past year and I'm a whole new person already. But, after two months of sobriety I'm even more different now. words cannot express how happy i feel at the moment. If I can do this then I can do anything I put my mind too.

- the weather. Perfect day as it's warm and sunny with clear skies. This is the first real spring day to me.

- my mother. She is the best person in the world and she is the most important thing to me. She's always been there for me and has always been by my side no matter what happens. If it wasn't for her I don't know where I'd be.

(btw I'm on spread for a lot of you but I'm using all my reps ITT - you guys help keep me positive!)

Today I am grateful for...

-Finishing a huge project at work a whole month early. I was hoping to nail this project in order to ask for a promo in June

-Awesome friends that invited me on upcoming trips, both knowing I don't get out much due to the kid/work (Austin for MotoGP and then UFC 211 in Dallas!)

-People in this thread - I look forward to reading everyone's replies every single morning. It gets me motivated.

Today I am grateful for:

- Job search is going really well; I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now; Gotta keep pushing myself and remain focused until that offer comes!
- My supportive friends (including this crew) that didn't abandon me when the world seemed to be crumbling (mentally); Thank you to all
- Having the financial backing from my parents for the education that I've obtained: They worked their asses off, from really harsh circumstances, so I can be successful; could not have done it without their blood, sweat and tears that paved the road for me

Second day posting in this thread.

1.) Failed a test I took on Monday in epic fashion. Admiteably, I didn't study or read the books the test was over. After class today, my professor asked to talk to me. She explained that I can still pass but I'll need to work my butt off. I'm gratueful I have a professor who doesn't write me off completely and is willing to work with me through my own failings.

2.) Clear blue skies and 80 degrees here I Austin. Beautiful!

3.) My diet lately has been on point and had a killer chest day today.

Keep it up everyone, we're already at noon--over halfway done with the week!
