The electoral college is not the problem, rather there is no solid method of getting a TRUE VALID vote for ALL STATES, in my opinion. Fingerprints, voter id, 21 and older, social security number, I think we need all of it to cast a vote. Of course the lunatic Democrats don't want this and that's how we're where we are right now. The ballots are difficult to verify.

Yeah...pretty insane that the election for essentially the most powerful person on the planet gets decided with paper ballots, no ID in many cases, etc. What a fuking joke.

ALL votes should be in person, electronically, and require ID at a 100% minimum. Military and elderly/non mobile/etc should be the absolute ONLY exception with deadlines far enough in advanced that nothing is received a single day after election day. All votes done in person are uploaded to one central location per state. When the polls close, the numbers are immediately 100% known and done right then and there. We know the winner within minutes for everything.

You shouldn't have internet access to the machines.

You collect the machines and take them to a central location.

We do a paper ballot that gets fed into a reader in NC.

That's the best way.

In australia when elections are on. You go in person, find your name, show ID and you get a voting paper with your details on it (address, name etc)

I have no idea how so backwards america is even though its a first world country
