Why don't you go to the stock investing thread and look at my posts for the past year. See where I mentioned the stocks I buy, and then come back and say that.

Here is one. Notice the date I posted it, Dec 22, and price of the stock-2 cents. It just hit 60 cents last week. I had over 5 million shares in the .02s. You do the math.

And the CTYX I mentioned? I have 7 Million shares of that bought in the .02s. Hit .07 today.

Still buying a ton of MITI (telemed) in the low .02s and CYTX in the high .02s, both health care plays set up beautifully for 2021 with M & As, name and symbol changes, and financing coming.

Bought a lot of BRTX the past week around a .006 average and sold today for 50% profit in the .009s.

Silver has always been promoted as shorted, and it is, but the gold short imo is bigger by a factor of 1000.

AG, GORO, and MUX seem to be the ones most in favor over there.

If you see the price of gold and silver start to rise then buy that as well. Any broker will usually let you buy the actual metal.

I'll ask in here rather than starting a new thread.

I have a general knowledge about stocks and understand whats going on with GME and Reddit.
But a couple things I don't understand or get in general is.....

Why would the people holding the stock allow others (hedge funds) to borrow their stock only if the main goal was to short sell it (besides them getting a fee for it)?

Meaning the ones holding the stock would know the reason why someone would want to borrow the stock ..(short sell)
Wouldn't that in itself be considered insider trading?

Also does the transaction of someone borrowing stock show up somewhere on public record?
Meaning the public can see that someone might be trying to short sell a stock thus acting accordingly on it?
