William Zabka thinks season 5 is way better.

Funny scenes I think the Dr. Scribblebottom, Bert’s humor, and Mitch’s hilarious botch in the skills competition were lol scenes.

Sad scenes included Stingray, Robby cutting Hawks Mohawk, and I’m probably a beta sucker but Miguel’s injury got me down.

Satisfying scenes included moon giving Hawk his confidence back, Kenny turning the tables on Anthony + the library fight scene, Demetri making it to the semifinals against Robby, Sam bullying Tory, Piper getting turned on by Tory during their sparring fight, and kreese getting betrayed by silver.

Can’t wait for Kenny to tear Anthony a new vagina
Can’t wait for Johnny at his absolute best next season
Can’t wait for Kyler to get beaten up even more he’s such the typical high school tool.
Cannot wait for daniel and Chozon to team up more than anything!

Oh and Hawk couldn’t be bought as a bully because that’s not who he is. He knows who he is now and found that balance between Hawk and Eli.

Silver's heel turn killed it for me.

His character arc was more interesting when he realized what he did in the past was batchit insane. It actually created one of the better dynamics in the show.

Now he's just another clown level bad guy for the sake of having a bad guy.

Gomorrah was terrible. couldn't finish it. lost interest after Genny thought he was a badazz/ his father in prison/ and his annoying mother trying to pull strings.

also, Sopranos gets way too much hype. didn't even bother to finish that either. srs

For me, I enjoyed it. I thought the actor did a fantastic job with the transition. You can see at the beginning, he hasn't lost it yet, and he's trying to (in my mind) do what Johnny was trying to do. "Hey, what Cobra Kai was doing for people was good, but we let petty bull **** bring it down and we need to just focus on the karate."

But Kreese couldn't let that go, "THEY ****ING GOT THEM WET! WE HAVE TO GET REVENGE!" And kept jerking him around. Trying to trigger his PTSD from Vietnam (early on there was that scene where his cook was asking him if they needed to call the Doctor - so it's clearly been a long battle for him). Then he starts to snap, play into what Kreese has been angling for - and then because Kreese can't let Johnny go, tells him to stop doing what Kreese has been saying they need to do the entire time. Jerking him around some more. I knew he was going to flip on Kreese, but I thought he poisoned him when he put the booze down after he took a sip. Would have been smarter.

Biggest shock for me this season, the actor who played Robbie. Thought that dude was really bad at acting, but I thought his performance this season was 100x better than previous and overall good.

Season 4 was my second favorite after season 1. My main complaint would be that S3 build up was supposed to be him and Daniel working together, and then they retreaded them breaking up and getting back together for the 10th time - I think everyone is tired of that ****.

Rewatching Johnny boy get beat up by Silver is worst than Silver assaulting Stingray.

Johnny should get his revenge in the rematch.

And Tory will one way or another go public with Terry’s cheating in the tournament. I don’t see how redeemed characters Robby, Tory will still support cobra Kai from then on and without sensei Kreese. Stingray should end up going public aswell.

Johnny and Robby going to South America to find Miguel.

But also while the prom episode could have implied sex I don’t think Tory is pregnant with Robby’s baby in season 5. I’ve heard that discussion.

You know you will watch season 5 for the pregnancy arc alone. Season 4 episode 8 Robby had sex with Tory in the car Terry Silver loaned to them. Tory is pregnant with Robby’s baby. Even if she didn’t know it when competed.

Oh and one more thing, Demetri is putting a baby in Yasmine as well.

The whole premise is so ridiculous you have to appreciate it. Rival karate dojos for kids? People still talking a tournament from 30 years ago? The fact that any of the adults would allowed anywhere near children after the first karate riot....
