I told her I can't wear that its a medium. She looked me in the face and said "You're about average sized". I legit Bert stared at her not knowing if she was fukn with me or not. Turns out she was ded srs. And to twist the knife even further she tells me I may be an inch or two taller than normal but I'm skinny now. I was about one more insult from heading straight to the lawyers office. At that point I was like ok fuk this. I told her to name any of her friends husbands that were either taller or broader than me. She came up with one guy who is my size and my brother who is bigger than me. After that I asked her if she realized where I was going with this and she said she understood but its just that all those other bfs/husbands are really small. It got to the point to where I had to make her google the average height of a male. You'd think since she's 5'8" herself she would have realized that about half of the men around are taller than her and half shorter that the average would be her height. I lol throughout so she didn't realize she had obliterated me
Moral of the story is now I'm incredibly insecure and need to hop on the OJ

So what happens is a lot of tall or tallish women like your wife claim that everyone is short so that they don't feel tall. Women don't like to feel like they are different, they want to assume that they are perfectly normal or "ideal"

Height is strange to women. I think a big reason for me is I have very long legs and a short very wide torso so it creates an illusion.
I honestly think the bigger a guy is in terms of mass or width, the larger he appears.
How much do you weigh right now? When I was 230lbs women thought I was a monster and I'm an inch shorter than you....
