Yankees get Montas and Trivino

Astros get Mancini
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Starting to think the Braves might not catch the Mets.

For the next 5 years after this season the Braves have Olson, Riley, Acuna, and Albies on the payroll for a combined $65 million per year more or less. For 5 prime years of all of them.

They’ll also have Michael Harris and William Contreras controlled through arb for 4 of those seasons.

Imagine having 6 starters of this caliber locked down for the next 4-5 years costing you no more than $80 mil each season.

Rekt.

Looking forward to squandering it being cheap everywhere else!

It's Ca$h, of course it was weak. We'll hold onto prospects until they have no more value. Sort of like Andujar and Fraizer. Ca$h didn't want to give up Fraizer for Cole. We all know how that turned out.

Speaking of which lol @ him wanting to go by his middle name, Jackson.

San Diego got ass raped.

Lol at Saalty pretending that’s not much.

Basically 3 top 30 prospects (Gore, Adams, Hassell) and another top 100 prospect Wood for good measure.

They basically took the Padres farm system and made it their own lol

Don't worry, Braves aren't doing anything either. No prospects left to trade so even if they wanted to do something they'd just get outbid. I really didn't expect Braves to do much this deadline.

All that crying done by Willson Contreras and he doesn’t even have to go anywhere.

Chicago is exactly the place he deserves to be

No idea why the Braves just picked up a worse reliever for more money than the one they traded back in the deal.

Wtf??

Still a little dumbfounded why we traded a solid 4th starter for Harrison Bader? the F? Nestor on an innings watch..Taillon has been dog chit..Sevy just got put on the 60 day....so trade a starter? For a hurt OFer in a walking boot. Bader healthy is a legit OFer dont get me wrong, but if they want to put Judge in RF and keep him healthy.....why a guy with foot problems on the IL currently? He aint coming back anytime soon and now we lost a starter....make it make sense

Good day for baseball

Braves win
Phillies lose
Mets lose
Marlins lose

That’s the kind of scoreboard I like to see
