I still say cops should never serve longer than a year on street patrol, cycle them out with detectives and let them learn law while they are there.

Too many street beats with pent up anger and aggression ready to push it out on others

Aunt was hit by a drunk driver and lost all memory besides speech. Had to reteach her how to walk, eat etc. Basically her brain hit reset

What if kid had a pacemaker, would it kill him 100% if tazed, even if it was only for 5-10 seconds?

The only remote satisfaction is knowing he will probably serve it in segregation because he would get ****ed up or killed in gen pop. 4 years in seg will **** you up pretty bad.

The kid did absolutely nothing wrong in terms of his rights and what America is supposed to stand for. Too bad what America was supposed to be and stand for doesn't exist in the 21st century but not many know this.

Cop will be out in like a year or two but the kid, well he's pretty much dead.

I agree, problem is proving intent to kill in a court room.

Not a medical professional, how would I know....of course, probably not advisable to tase somebody who has a pacemaker if you knew they did. The point of having a shorter cycle on a taser is to evaluate quicker after the tase, and you can always kill it before the 5 seconds. The cop being the douche in this video that he is, probably wouldn't have given a phuk and carried on with his actions no matter how short or long it was.

I hear ya bro. I'm assuming the stupid inbred cop would deny he tried to kill him in court. Even though by doing what he did he could have easily killed him. Unfortunately our court system does not treat everybody the same. The courts across the country have a long history of being lenient on cops.

Think about it, if you are a kiddie diddler if you sneak around trying to separate kids from their families and eventually you get caught. If you are a smart kiddie diddler you get a job working around kids and a position of power/respectability (priest, teacher) and maybe never get caught.

If you are a sadist and like hurting people, maybe you start bar fights against smaller weaker impaired dudes every weekend or you go at you kid with a belt because punishment. But if you are a clever sadist you get a job that rewards you sadism, that not only allows you to hurt other people but praises you for it.

Police departments are flooded with this type, people who want to be lawful bullies.

If you are smart you'd stay clear of them and treat every interaction like you would a dangerous predator
Experience is a good teacher, not a kind one.

Wish eye for an eye punishment was still around. Taze the cop for 20 seconds, cuff him and then drop his face on the curb.

It's just way too easy to become a cop.

If they make it much harder to pass the requirements, and really work on more training and background checking, I bet this would get better. They would probably have to pay them more if they did this, and I think they should make more. It would attract better people.

Even Whites aren't spared nowadays. If the victim were Black, everyone would by crying racism, but at this point, I think that it's solely a matter of the officers not giving a f*ck no matter the race of their suspects/ assailants.

Not right away. Ignoring commands from an officer is not a good way to handle the situation. He pulled the kid over for a traffic warrant...no clue what it was but if the cop was concerned he would try running in his car then having him get out first then he did it for his own safety and those on the street. It's too bad you don't understand that side and obviously negged me for my view that if the kid just followed his commands while asking why he was pulled over then this wouldn't matter.

The cop is getting what he deserves for such excessive force. End of story. Can't stop this kind of **** from happening because you never know which cop is gonna go overboard until it happens...same with all other humans.
