evil can be summed up to who committed the worst acts on innocents...mainly children but men and women not part of a conflict still dying also count.

You guys not saying Hitler are a joke. I suppose he had no say in the deaths of millions. Then again, some miscers think all those deaths are a lie so I guess the mentally challenged can still get on the misc with relative ease.

Granted I cant think of a top 3 evil people because I cant actually think of evil enough people due to lack of knowledge or thinking of better things. I guess I could use google like most people in this thread.

Many people still consider Vlad a hero for saving Europe from the invading Turks. He went out of his way to be as brutal as possible TO HIS ENEMIES so that they would fear him... And it worked.

Among the likes dictators Pol Pot always stood out to me. He may have killed less people than Stalin or Mao, but Cambodia is a small country. His victims are 25% of the Cambodian population and he caused those death in just 3 short years.

What makes Hitler so terrible is that the Holocaust was a planned genocide for basically no reason at all, while Stalin and Mao were just terrible leaders.
To me the most evil people are not the ones, who killed the most people, but the ones who killed just for the sake of it. Vlad Tepesch might have killed and tortured people in disgusting ways, but he won a war with these tactics. Modern serial killers, who did it for enjoyment strike me as much more evil.

So I will put H. H. Holmes there, since I do not know much about other serial killers.

I actually did some research on Vlad because of this thread. GJVM, yeah he was brutal but it's the only language his enemies understood

Vlad the Impaler was actually a terrible man, not just to Turks but to many Europeans at the time, his image became softened only after his death. His reputation in Europe (Especially in Western Europe at the time) was highly negative due to his treatment of people in his territories. Hungary waged war on him, as did the Boyars of Bulgaria and so on. He was even arrested by the Hungarians for a time period before his death.

He didn't really fight off the Ottoman Empire. He was a temporary roadblock but he was swiftly defeated, being beheaded in a battle and his head sent to Constantinople.

However, he was a brilliant military strategist. He had many notable victories in battle.
