Of course, but if the movie was financed and produced by a Chinese studio, then who cares who complains. Obviously that studio wanted to take the risk of making a film with Chinese actors as the knights in a King Arthur movie. And if the market they're selling the film embraces it, then that is just good business. Same with this Matt Damon movie. The people involved with the film thought it was a safer bet to have Matt as the lead. That isn't racism. It's just a good business strategy.

This isn't racism, or at least it isn't on the hand of the producers. If they knew they could break even with an Asian main lead, they would go for it for the sake of being inclusive and progressive. Liberals need to stop skirting the problem on the producers and look at the biggest problem. The problem is a lot of mainstream America seems to have a problem with non-whites being in high status positions and roles. Particularly when things come from the west. Historically, white male leads have always made everything preform better; movies, TV shows, Comics, politics, music, video games, ect ect.

The rest of the world also has a problem with it. It seems that every group of people have a severe bias towards whites/Europeans because of their social status they have amassed. Hollywood in itself means nothing, all of this is just people trying to take advantage of the free market to make money. The elephant in the room is the things whites have done in the past in order to achieve their high level of social status that they have today (Brainwashing, Colonialism, Christianity, misogyny, inciting rebellions, "democracy", Hollywood to a degree, military occupation, ect ect) until these things are made aware to every person in every country then things like this will never stop. That's it. White males still have social status because of the above reasons, until all of that chit is debunked and destroyed completely, the white male patriarchy will remain

Liberals are simply attacking only a minor part that goes in with white supremacy. They lack the rationale to attack the problem holistically which can all be summed up into 3 words, "past white imperialism."

Things like demanding more minority characters, demanding affirmative action for minorities, demanding immigration, are nothing but surface level solutions to a deeper problem that has been brewing for 500 years. It appeases their white guilt but does little in removing white males from their position of privilege.

At best it will stay the same or worst, ethnic war when the rest of the world catches up with the west and realizes they've been wronged

They started to take out their racism on other races and hey Asians were the easiest to pick on since they were a smaller minority than blacks and Asians weren't united. Like a Japanese/Chinese/Korean/vietnamese etc are technically Asian but since most Asians have ties to their country of origin and follow the culture of that country obviously they aren't united at all.

It really is that simple. It's not really that easy to be openly racist towards say a black or a hispanic because the chances of serious consequences are higher. It is easier to be openly racist towards Asians and Asians need to be more aggressive and racially aware and stop being uncle toms.
Asians are easily the most disadvantaged group in the west.

They have to have better marks than any other race of people and their application thrown away if they have an ethnic sounding name.
Fun fact: Asians started incorporating European names in the 1900s to appease racists and to increase their chances at making it in the west amidst the racism. Funnily enough though this still exists, job applications that include traditional American names are 2x more likely to get hired over one with say an ethnic name or African American name. America historically has always been about exploiting migrants/minorities while simultaneously destroying any chance of that culture spreading and becoming dominant

Asians are chitted on in the media and getting cucked hard. This is what happens when you "be water my friend" and let your oppressors consistently grow their boundaries. They wouldn't dare do this to Arabs who actually see through the west's bullchit (Admittedly they have their own bull, but different thread)

They need union and stop placating to the demands and the cucking of the west. Sadly, Asian culture is basically Uncle Tom-ism, which has its roots in Taoism and Confucism, which is why the Asian race has survived for so long and has avoided becoming victims like other groups of people. This explains their high population count as well. They can assimilate very well and make their colonists integrate as well. The chief worship of status in Asian cultures is why whites cuck them the hardest.

Basically they wish to be on the winning team, which happens to be the west.
