Not really it seems for the younger crowd. The amount of 18-23 year Olds I know who have never been on a real date is astounding (and they're fairly hot for the most part).
You don't need to date them to fuk anymore, so why bother? Then they complain about no nice dates. Lol.

As for your situation, I'm a little surprised that the detective thing didn't turn you off completely lol. That's impressive stuff, and I'm happy its working out so far. I feel like other miscers need to see that a lot of men aren't asking women out like they think. Even the "chads"

Well, we were in the same student council thing so I'm guessing he searched the email list which is a but less creepy. That and my brother's partner was telling me to give him a shot, so I did and I definitely don't regret it

I don't use tinder/bumble in lieu of gettin laid less than some of my friends
but barely any of them can hit it off with a rando in public. I don't think any of them even consider approaching anymore.

A date's viewed as a pretty serious thing by girls nowadays and most will be scared off by it to go back to their social media safe space. Approaching girls to hookup though? I reckon it's getting stupidly easier where you just kinda wander up to them, make some innocuous comment and if they join in then you're basically getting laid unless you screw it up from there.
Keep in mind it's really easy to screw it up unless all parties are really drunk (which is a lot of the time).

Women still get asked out, maybe with a really hot chick not as much cause guys are intimidated and are afraid of being rejected by a 8 or 9 but if a woman is decent looking and not fat, she's gonna get asked out, at least through their social circles.

I'm three months out of a 3yr relationship, forgot how to talk to females. Have 0 game. I frequent this Chipotle by uni where there is a hbb, dk how to approach and ask out. Plus the line of 10+ customers behind me doesn't help haha. Definitely relying on apps to get sloots but I would rather ask chipotle girl out then these dating app sloots but I don't want to come off as a creep. Need help misc. Thoughts?

Since I've been single I've only been asked out once in person, and twice over text by irl connections set up by mutual friends. And then online a lot of course but that's different.

In all the relations I've had, I've maybe officially got turned down 10-20% of the time?
Only one time did I hook up was through social networking (myspace or fb), and I abandoned that route after a few dates.
Building rapport with a woman before the proposition is important though, and I think that's why people defer to digital. The danger of the awkwardness isn't there in the beginning. Being socially fluid is key to getting her to say yes. Just takes practice. Just try to ask questions and don't talk about yourself at all. If you do talk about yourself, let her ask the questions and be confident about whatever answer you give her (the truth) if she doesn't like it, oh well.
As an aside that's kind of related, just wait until you're married to screw. It lets both you and her know just what kind of person either of you are (mentally/morally). Do you really want to marry/get serious with some chick who is so carnal she risks being a sloot? Reduces overhead by a lot I'd think - as it limits emotional attachments (which sex creates). Not a guarantee, just a safer bet methinks.

im convinced the vast majority of relationships just start by fuking.. neither party really cared for the other
when the guy or girl cares too much. they fuk it up.
think your oneitis 10/10 everything and then how hard it is to not fuk up
add on top of it when your cards too early the woman is turned off or you indirectly reveal shes more valuable than you.. she gets turned off
yea, i think most relationships start out with at least one party not really liking the other, disregarding couples that have been together since their teenage years

Just because everyone is running around like rabbits, doesn't mean we should accept it as okay.

Some guys still do, but most don't. It's generational. The millennials don't have social skills like previous generations, and that stems from keeping their heads in phones, tablets, computers. The idea of "chillin" is pretty foreign to them, at least in the way it used to be. I'm talking about just hanging with friends....and not needing to check your phone all night. In the 90's as a teen, approaching a girl was pretty easy if you weren't socially awkward. Now though, women are extra sensitive to advances and many consider them to be "threatening", and these young guys out there are so pussy-whipped/coddled and fed stimuli 24/7 for the most part that they're scared of rejection. We used to get bored...and out of that we were forced to do **** as social groups. Crazy, and many times stupid ****, but also memorable because it wasn't online but actually in person with friends.
I seriously feel sad when I read Tinder threads. You can see the divide from generations in how Misc posts shifted from the free-wheeling locker room type talk we had from 2001-10.....to the heavily moderated FA talk that followed. The idea that a whole generation has been raised to walk past women everyday scared to talk to them, and pining away on the social media apps to "hook up" is pahtetic. An old-school Fast Times generation man-whore like LeoSlayer is connecting with chicks left and right, while men half his age in their primes are crying on the Misc because they can't find a woman...even though they walk past a ton of them every damn day. 40+ Female Miscers pretty much run the Misc right now because they're not social awkward like most(not all) young female miscers who are typically easily triggered.
