It depends. If she's more educated, works in a higher position than me and gets paid twice or more than me then yes I would feel insecure.

If you become dependent on her then that's the problem because men are supposed to provide for the women.

It's like saying you don't want a girl who is taller than you because it makes you feel inferior, and wanting a girl shorter than you because you want to dominate over her and make her feel protective.

This guy summed it up really well. It's irrelevant how much she makes (actually, the more the better) for as long as you bring in enough money to not need to be dependent on her.

My wife is 8 years younger than me and we make roughly the same, but she will be a Fortune 500 executive in the next 5-7 years and blow past me. I'm ok with that, more money for travel and an earlier retirement for me.

not really, i make pretty good money tho. There's way too many variables at play to not take every situation as it comes here, you can't just blanket a response for all couples.
