lol middle school

used to go to school not giving a phuck what I looked like and then people started commenting about it, so I started to fix myself up, and noticed that all the more handsome looking kids were getting most the attention, and it became more apparent how often people would judge looks when I started to break out (acne), people (even guys) were so quick to say who was ugly or who was a pretty boy, and then by high school if you weren't fresh people would just clown you all day long

Plus girls would always talk about how hot this boy or that boy looked, and rare did I get the nod as one of the "pretty boys", nor was I orbited, but things changed in my adulthood with a clear face, now girls treat me like I am some kind of miniature chad, just a cute face, though far from a real chad

Always kind of knew looks were important since middle school, but sort of played it off in the back of my mind as kids who were just popular because they played sports or whatever.
