Driving down the road when the guy in the very front is turning left, stays in the very middle of the lane. Everyone has to sit and wait 2 minutes for oncoming traffic to go by because we can't go around him. Because this guy couldn't move his car 16 inches further left, now we're going to hit every light and traffic backups, he just made hundreds of other peoples drives 5-10 minutes longer.

If you're riding your bike, there's countless cars behind you that can't go around because of oncoming traffic, you see the shoulder is clear/clean, you scoot over so they can go around. Doesn't hurt you, doesn't hurt them, benefits everybody. You're probably less stressed worrying about a car hitting you, they're getting to their destination faster, wins everywhere.

Do you have to? No, but you could just be a decent person and help the flow of traffic and not ruin the upcoming flow of traffic, affecting thousands of other people trying to get where they need to be. I'm sure there's other things in life you don't have to do but do anyway because it benefits everybody.

It has nothing to do with feeling alpha. The days I drive to/from work and there's no idiots on the road are 15+ minutes faster over a 30 mile drive, it's not just me, it's hundreds/thousands of other drivers that end up getting ****ed because of one inconsiderate *******.

My only thing with cyclists is I'd like to see them pull over to the side for a minute every now and then so the 6+ cars behind them that are traveling at less than 20 mph can actually pass rather than getting conjested and having to risk overtaking against potential oncoming traffic. I see a lot of near misses that could be avoided if cyclists were just slightly my courteous of drivers

Average car is 6 feet wide. Average lane is 12ft wide. 6 +3=9 leaving the vaginal having cyclists 3 feet of operating room.

Passing over a double yellow line is GENERALLY not permitted, but it's permitted in Ohio to pass a slower road user PROVIDED

a) They're traveling less than 1/2 the posted speed limit
b) It's safe to pass without exceeding the speed limit

Along the light rail in Houston you can't turn left, well I witnessed this cyclist I'm assuming with headphones on, completely run a red after looking both ways but didn't check for the train coming behind him. He swerved left and the train slams on the brakes. One lucky mother****er. I regularly see cyclists doing dumb **** at our intersection.
