It seems to be common. Have you seen the conditions many women live in? Dirty laundry all over the floor, disgusting dishes stacked sky high in the sink, bathroom is atrocious (nasty hair and dirt everywhere)...just generally a pigsty. Showering isn't a priority. I've seen this with many women in their 20s anyway. Probably used to their mommies cleaning up after them and don't know how to I guess. I know dudes can be gross too but in general women's hygiene overall is worse.

If misc women are active like I would be live, it makes sense for us to at the very least take a quick shower every day.

But women not showering everyday seems somewhat normal. And if she isnt unhealthy or smelly it shouldn't matter. Although I can't really think of any I know at the top of my head that don't shower every day for the most part.

The grossest parts of your body, i.e. face, underarms, under the breasts, genitals, and rear end, could be washed individually, according to Zeichner.

You should also put on clean underclothes each day; a separate study showed that we shed a lot more dirt and oil in our clothes than we do in the shower.

I've never understood the thing about washing your hair less = less oily hair. My hair doesn't get oily if I shampoo everyday, but if I don't it gets oily pretty quickly..

I can understand hot water everyday might be bad, I take cold showers 75% of the time..
