It was not as hard as I thought it was going to be. Definitely limited by cardio though

Pretty sure that was exactly where I stopped

I could have done 30+ without getting muscularly fatigued

Yeah the other day I figured I'd just try to move as fast as I could, I don't think that works.

16 reps in and I was simply too winded.

You clean the bar and it's aleady half way through your OHP RoM, looked efficient man.

It's not a winner but it's 17. I can tell I hate cardio.

As i get older I am realizing i have to get while the gettings good. I can put stats and PR's up here all day long. But, the main concepts with my workouts....
1. GO BIG OR GO HOME.
2. FORM IS EVERYTHING
3. BREATHE.

Any ideas for next week?

I was thinking some sort of grip challenge. 2x BW for time maybe

BW bench for reps would be an easy one too

Bodyweight bench would be cool but the NFL combine BP test would also be cool (225 for max reps), not that I could rep 225, lol. I was repping 115 before my shoulder put me out of commission, most I made it back to was repping 45 pound dumbbells (I think, it's been a while).

NFL combine for reps. I'm 225-230 so either way that's my weight. Love this one.

It has to be a lift that's accessible to everyone which is why BW challenges are easiest IMO

If you just do max weight, the contests are going to be dominated by me and a few others. Weight classes just makes things a pain

Agreed. Weigh in's and weight classes don't work for a quick 1 week contest with 1 winner. The idea should be simplicity and the ability to easily duplicate it week after week with different lifts.

There's no reason why lifts can't be chosen that play into the hands of PL's, just like this one which might have played more into the hands of an athlete/crossfit (hate to say it).

The 1rm max weight lifted competitions are always going to favor bigger/heavier guys and you can't find that 170lb guy that's exceptionally strong for his BW that deserves to win without a doubt.

Oh and I was gonna try to make a better attempt today but at 10 reps I said fuk it, there's no beating 21 reps.

I edited my video to show my sloppy 17th rep where I busted my knee on the way down with the bar, still don't think it was a full 60 sec.

so many good entries. I want to toss a chity vid up for kicks pretty bad but my ankle is near shot. I was working at the YMCA when someone I was spotting decided to throw the weight into the rack and push back with their feet at the same time. I probably had about 400lbs of rack/person/weight slide 8inches straight into my shin and ankle.. I swear.. I wouldnt be so mad if that prick didn't drop the weights during his deadlifts, as his next exercise after maxing out on bench.

I think this would be best for thread flow and staying subbed. Easy to throw a weekly link in the OP.
