Bel Air is nice but honestly Palos Verdes Estates reminds me of heaven. Currently living in Woodland Hills and it's nice but would trade for Texas in a heartbeat.

Don't think I've ever been to Woodland Hills.

Burbank checking in. It has a smaller town/suburban feel. A lot of people were born and raised here. It's expensive. Idk what you're looking for in an area. It's def kind of boring with things to do, but on the flip side, the city isn't part of LA county. Meaning, it provides all of it's own services like police, fire, schools, etc, which are all top notch.

So is there any type town at all in Malibu, or is it literally just a stretch of the PCH lined with beach houses and restaurants?

The key to living well in LA is to live in a nice neighborhood and work within 10 mins of your house. Drive to work and for everyday chit like grocery shopping. Uber to everything else (restaurants and nightlife).

I think the main question is how often will you realistically go to Disneyland? If you want to go every weekend plus a few weekdays that will very much decide where you live and how much you spend on transportation.

If that's kind of a dealbreaker you better decide now. It's not exactly located near LA.

Do you hate driving or the time spent on the road? If you hate driving, all you gotto do is wait a couple of years for self-driving vehicles to become common place. Srs.

Yea we all have too much water now so we've been boiling water from 7pm to 12am daily to offset the excess. I'm gonno leave my shower on when I go to big bear on the weekend.

Also LOL'ed a little bit at comments about "LA beaches" by the people above. Must be new to LA. Noone goes to the beach to jump in the water. You just go have brunch and get turnt up in the vicinity of the beach and maybe take a walk around the beach. The actual sand and water is for tourists and bums.

How nice is Orange County?

What would it cost to get a decent 3-4 bedroom home there not too far from the water?

I was there when I was young and remember the beach and area being completely amazing, since then I've always said I'd want to try living there one day.

Is it like I remember?
