Since the other guy actually providing arguments was not sure. What is you explanation of me personally seeing the sun come up from behind the horizon, travel from east to west and go down? according to flat earth diagrams I should see the sun go from one side to the other in front of me, quite far away.

This is not something I've read, it's something I personally see every day, and one of the biggest hurdles in me being able to consider this.

So I am on a boat right, Its a semi cloudy day, far from overcast but there are many clouds in the sky. I am on the ocean and it is calm, as calm as could be. There are clouds above me, they work their way to the horizon. In the horizon it gets more and more cloudy to the point clouds dominate the entire sky. I look dead horizontal out towards the horizon and what do I see? I see water, and then right after that, there is cloud. There are no gaps between the water and the clouds, it is just water and then cloud. If I am looking out dead horizontally, and I am seeing cloud at my own eye level, its pretty safe to assume that we are at the same elevation relative to a common reference point which we will say is the boat aka the datum. Now how could this be given clouds generally don't float on the ocean? The earth being round explains this perfectly. Also, another thing you notice out on the ocean is that the clouds directly above you look far higher than they do the further they are located towards the horizon. You can practically see the downward bend in atmosphere as it moves towards the horizon. I am srs open to new ideas, I 100% believe the moon landings were faked as well as many other things in recent times, so pls just tell me why this occurs if the world is indeed flat?

There are lots of discussion on how the sun dial will work on a flat earth model as the shadow does not behave the same as we observe it based on a round earth model.Couple of miles vanishing point? A plane usually fly around 30k feet (5.7 miles) and is visible to human eye. Also, I think vanishing point does not apply to high contrast object because of the light that extend its visibility further.
Trying to see how far your eyes can see staring along a straight road is somehow different from trying to see a plane flying at 30k feet. Its like, our eyes focus differently depending on the distance from the object. Just like cameras I guess.
