Dogs are trainable and any "behavioral" traits can be taken care of most of the time, especially if you have them from a puppy stage. These stereotypes are the same as saying all pitbulls will bite ppl.
I thought the same until I had to actually deal with it. Maybe I just got a pita huskie line. Or of course it could be just the wolf part, not purely husky thing. But then again my malamute wolfdog has never done anything like that ever.

I've worked at a doggy daycare, we didn't have any breed restricitons. In my experience, Malamutes were everything people aspired for huskies to be. Just as aesthetic, cuddly, calm, friendly. All the huskies we got were pretty good for the most part, but every single one had attitude, and they'd always get up to no good with rags and stuff, or just generally be little fukkers with other dogs. Nothing mean or aggressive, but sometimes they just didn't know when to stop. For that reason, I probably won't ever own a husky unless it's a rescue. Could have just been a bunch of lazy owners, but it seems to be fairly rampant throughout the breed.

Yep, that's the case with my dogs too. And for sure, Malamutes are chill as hell. Only a couple of possible issues I've seen: they don't take any sh!t from other dogs trying to dominate them (only a problem for your ******* dogs) and are very protective of their food if it's sh!t like meat & bones. Even with extensive training, those instincts are too close to their hearts to completely get rid off, I think.

My friends have a couple boxers, they are definitely pretty chill dogs. Good for city dogs/apartments IMO. I like those goofy ugly fuks for sure.

That's my the only thing holding me back from getting a German Shepherd again.. the shedding is real.

Dogs are really is on a case by case basis. For example if you are on a farm and need herding skills then Australian Shepherd, if you live in an urban environment then something small like a Corgi, if you are hungry then a Hot.

I've got a husky. He's an awesome dog. Very smart and intuitive. Master of escape. Best thing about him is how he treats everyone differently. With me he's wild and tries to wrestle. With my daughter he's calm and gentle.

Negatives- likes to eat cat turds and escape from the yard/ go to the pound.
