Probably Borderlands 2 for fun.
Fallout 3 for getting completely immersed into. I had never played an RPG before and it blew my mind lmao.

It's a cross between Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4.
Now it seems like all these videogames have gone to chit.

#1 was Halo 3
The amount of fun I had playing this game was unrivaled. Custom Games, or amazingly forged maps, or competitive during matchmaking.
After that:
Halo 2
Runescape
Cod WaW
Cod Mw2
Cod Black Ops 1
Cod Black Ops 2
I just recently got back into runescape hnnnng. Just gonna play on weekends, and maybe an hour during free days, maybe I can actually be good in 5 years lmao. First started playing back in 2004.. wish I kept up with it.

My coworkers and I used to have an absolutely brutal Rise of Nations tournament-style competition going for the better part of a year.
The only rule was no-nukes. One night I held out with my last city for two hours swarming with a maximum garrison, jets patrolling all over my sector of the map, etc. All my resource gathering was behind it, I'd managed to rescue most of my workers before my other cities fell, and it was backed into the corner of the map, so it was under constant bombardment but my opponent couldn't really do anything about it. I kept trying to branch out and rebuild a new city or weasel a siege weapon onto his territory. I finally only lost because I got overly ambitious trying to raid his cities, burned up too much of my garrison on it, and he was finally able to break through and burn my last city, which I think I'd renamed as something personally insulting to his mother's sexuality by that point.
I walked into the office the next morning and he didn't look up, just said "I still can't believe that happened."
In general I love strategy games like the Total War series, Civilization, Crusader Kings/Europa Universalis/Hearts of Iron.

Final Fantasy IX. Mainly because of nostalgia. Actually the game is hands down the best in the series. Went back to classic gameplay, classes and environment. I'm getting tired that every new FF Bahamut is becoming less draconian. Megazords, Knights. NO, gimme back my badazz Dragon. Dat Bahamut vs Alexander Shodown. The characters, everything. game is completely gorgeous.
I play a lot of games, However the last one that actually made me enjoy playing it was Xenoblade Chronicles for the WII. Walking, fighting and questing on god's bodies was awesome, storywise the game was on point. It pushed the wii to its limits. Imagine if that game was made for current gen consoles. This is the main reason I'm hyped for the switch.
