I think a lot of guys saying stuff like "won't date anyone with 10+ partners" haven't actually met a girl like that who they got along with on a deeper level. I used to think the same, and maybe still feel somewhat conflicted about it.

But I have actually met a girl now with a high count who has done and is doing all she can to show me she wants commitment. Said I helped her show how it's an empty existence and she felt that way beforehand anyway. What I'm trying to say is that it isn't always black and white. You can't place an arbitrary value on emotions and relationships. When it happens to you, you'll understand one day.

The problem on the Misc is that you get a lot of inexperienced guys commenting on issues in threads like this. They say what they think, not what they've seen or experienced first hand. This in turn creates toxic and unrealistic mindsets for the other inexperienced people IMO.
