yeah cheers ruddager7 i saw on fb that jackson got it, only the 2nd time a losing player got motm or something.
i think nsw needed klezmer out there for the last 10min n not fifita, the qlders shut hit down to quickly but can pick the game to pieces n not change the result

Yeah I though klemmer was one of our best forwards. Fifita didnt do much at all but they shut him down.
Thought NSW forwards were better pretty much whole game. Jake trobejivic played amazing

I like the fact wade graham can kick/ball play as long he doesn't overplay his hand.
Yep Pearce failed to take control of the game yet again but no one else in NSW is really putting their hand up to be hb. He played well first half.
Yeah Dugan went well at fullback and has always been solid there at origin but I just couldn't take teddy out of fb. Pretty much been NSW best or close to every game he's played.

World Cup I couldn't care less he's not playing, Aus is so dominant at international level its getting boring. Will be interesting to see someone else in the halves and how that affects things.
Cant see Australia losing regardless, even if they lost a few more key players. Just too much depth

yeah Aussie depth is strong af! I have hardly any interest in international NRL also.
I'm worried at how well Manly are playing now.. starting to hit their stride and creeping up the ladder.

Manly are also doing all that while still paying Matai and Stewart's wages too. Probably over 1 million going to waste this year.

I feel the NSW forward pack is probably more dominant that any QLD forward pack at least in the last 10 years, looking at stats they just destroy the QLD forwards. I'm pretty puzzled with how much the NSW forwards have been carrying the team that NSW still haven't flogged us hard each game.

Manly are too weak in the middle. Storm are wayyy in front. Roosters and the Broncos are dark horses for mine. Well Broncos without injuries. Roosters could blast straight through the Storm in peak form imo but even now they're still too inconsistent and still have question marks over their edge defenders in mitchell and manu. Sharks have been clinging on but they are a very flat team, I just don't see them going another level.

Storm's weakness is the same it's been for the past 10 years and that's offloads. It's the reason why they suck against the Sharks because the Sharks entire attacking game plan is based on second phase play from offloads. You could see it in the game against the Roosters, the first 20 mins the Roosters were getting plenty of offloads and were all over them. After that intercept followed by another quick try they went into their shell and Melbourne just wrestled the game into a complete bore until the very end where they forced themselves to throw it around more and straight away the Storm were struggling to defend it again. You need to do it with power though.. the Broncos throw it around a lot but it's not the same thing as pushing straight up through the middle, the Storm try to get 3 tacklers always and when you offload it it opens up a huge gap in the middle. They'll cover it in time but when you back it up with another rolling forward they'll struggle big time. That's why I say the Roosters have the potential to blast them apart.storm have picked up nate myles and apparently sam kasiano aswell to add to a decent forward pack

nsw unchanged for whole series first time since '96
that being said cordner and frizzle are under injury clouds tho, not sure nsw can carry 2 key fwds if they go down with injury but if they're fit then no doubt pick them.
time for the hayne plane to deliver diamonds n play for 80 mins not 60.
